Hey all! After a year or two (has it really been that long??), I've finally decided I want to bring my species concept to life! This has been an idea of mine that I've been chewing on for quite a while now, and I'm ready at last to put it into action. I've changed...a lot of things since the last time I gave this a shot, so be sure to read the rules and concepts/ideas carefully. I have something very specific in mind.
You will get credit for the lines, and first place will be offered a permanent artist position.

Rules
-follow all of Tess's rules
-only submit your own work, no copying or
stealing the works of others
-only oekaki entries will be accepted, sorry!
-please do not fight or argue with other users,
this includes the winners
-you may create multiple entries/linearts
What I'm looking for in your entry
-lineart
-separate layers for the colors/shading/
lines/etc.
-tail stuff on separate layers so it can
be switched out for other tails if I decide
to do so
-meets the requirements of the species

Species Concept
These lil cuties will be a sort of mix between a ferret, otter, and cat. There are concept sketches underneath the cover that sort of give a general idea(??) of what I'm looking for. They are no bigger than your average house cat and they live in clans in the wild, or groups, if you will. This is how they survive, as a lone -insert cool species name here- will have trouble surviving without the help of others. The more in the clan, the better chance they have of surviving.
These -cool name that I haven't thought of yet- live in trees or on high ground, since many of their natural predators live down below. They are extremely flexible and agile, and are very mischievous little creatures. Their diet consists mostly of berries, plants, and fish. Speaking of fish, they are excellent swimmers. As fish is a vital part of their diet, they must venture down to the ground and find a body of water to hunt in. Their fur is sleek and smooth, so the water will run off it and they can dry faster, and it also helps them swim more quickly.
