Mintymist got her name from her mint colored paws. She is a very fast runner who loves to race against others (she mostly wins, but has failed a few times.) One time when she was running a race, she didn't watch where she was going at fell right into mud!

Short Story:
mint eyes, curious, watch as the butterflies waltz by in the warm breath of fall, and cajoled gently by the soft calling of birds and rusting of the trees, casper treads tenderly onto the autumn ground, the crackling of beautiful orange fallen leaves pleasant and crisp beneath his feet. a passing insect- a moth, lands on his tail, and he jumps in fright, before noticing the harmless creature carrying itself away in the breeze; perhaps it had mistaken his tail to be a fallen branch, and the pale green tip to be a young leaf amongst the sea of warm browns and oranges. a sudden movement in the leaves; a squirrel, darting by. and then, with barely restrained joy, he is frolicking among the fallen leaves, romping and revelling in the caress of the season in the way only youth and playfulness allows oneself. autumn, he thinks; such a beautifully warm season. (151 words)
