...Everywhere there were hundreds of little bat-like creatures with butterfly wings. This was a scientific breakthrough! How had they evaded the minds of men for so long? It certainly does take a long time to gain their trust. They're prey animals you see, so instinctively they must always be alert and cautious, especially when it comes to animals they've never encountered before. They entrust very few with the gift of their companionship, will you be one of those few?

Pen pressure finally started working again so I could finish this one!
I went for a nature-type vibe to it c:
I really wanted to have some glowy aspect about it, and I'm not quite sure what the things are that I ended up drawing, so I figured it'd be fun to make that part of the form!
The mushrooms and roses on the hind are part of the BF, but whether or not the ones on the head are are up to you!

Grigora is a sweet batterfly though has her crazy quirks. She loves to mess around and play like a little baby batterfly again and can't seem to find anthing serious. She loves being around friends and her favorite game happens to be hide-and-go-seek.

What are the glowing extensions on their face: A type of cave lichen that ended up getting bioluminescence on it from glow worms in caves she hides in. Seems she can't stay out of trouble!

Are the flowers accessories or part of them: Part of her. It shows her kind nature and that even if she is covered in mosses and mushrooms, she still has the beauty of flowers

Personality: Rune is a quite but adventurous batterfly, he loves exploring caverns and enchanting forests. Everytime he visits a new forest he adds a flower to the crown upon his head, he loves plants. Rune is extremely playful and childish being the young batterfly he his.

What are the glowing extensions on their face: The glowing extensions are a cave fungus that he uses to communicate and as a light source. Rune cannot speak so he uses the glowing of the plants to communicate by having the fungus glow in patterns.

Are the flowers accessories or part of them: After he visits a place and adds a flower to his crown, it becomes part of him.

Gender: Female

Personality: Eliza is a down-to-earth caring and loving batterfly! She loves spending time with nature, as it soothes her.

What are the glowing extensions on their face: Eliza developed the glowing extensions on her face, from living in a cave, filled with orb-like plants for several years. The plants gave off waves of light that effected her fur growth. This caused her to grow glowing whiskers, similar to the plants' appearances.

Are the flowers accessories or part of them: Eliza's flower-crown was a gift from the nature sprites, therefore, it is not part of her; physically! The flowers on her back area, however, she was born with. The flowers bloomed as she grew and grew as a better person, thoughtful and free!

Personality:
Florence is extremely protective of himself and his distance from others, for the safety and care of his
flowers are his top priority. Due to this, he can put on a facade of aggression when threatened, but always
chooses flight over fight in the end. Though friends are nothing more than the luna moths in the early dawn
(too large to eat) and winged silhouettes of fellow bats acknowledging from afar (too risky to approach), he
is content in his solitude, for he is never truly alone. Florence always has the flowers he named, the daytime
birdsong that his fellow nocturnals rarely hear, and the comfortable presence of his own mind.

What are the glowing extensions on their face:
It's a natural mutation to attract moths at dusk for a meal. He allows the company of a few butterflies for
the pollination of the flowers.

Are the flowers accessories or part of them:
The flowers are a part of him, but he must be sure to tend to them lest they die. They cannot grow back.
It's for this reason he gets plenty of rain and sunlight and must stay in the jungle away from winter seasons.

Other:
The center flower reminds me of a black hellebore, one of my absolute favorite flowers, so that's
what I'd like to think it is. In the Victorian language of flowers, they mean "relieve my anxiety."

Congratulations!
I loved the depth that you gave to the character, it was a lot of fun to read about their quirks and personality.
The idea of Florence having to water his flowers so that they won't die is also something I thought was very creative; I hadn't even considered something like that while designing them! And the bulbs being a mutation used to attract food was interesting as well, it reminded me a bit of those big fish at the bottom of the sea who have bulbs to attract food.
