Adrian carefully tiptoed through the haunted house, trying not to alert any of the "creatures" to his presence. As much as Adrian would hate to admit it, he was very easily startled. Of course, given his outgoing nature and big-brother personality, this wasn't something that many would assume. Unfortunately this had lead to his current situation; being coaxed into that horrific attraction by his friend, Vincent, who lived in the next apartment and was blissfully unaware of his comrade's plight. Suddenly, Adrian found himself not being able to locate the vivid pelt of his friend, an unsettling development to say the least. He crept around a few corners before turning around to realize that 1.) he had efficiently gotten himself lost, and 2.) there was a terrifyingly dressed actor crawling up to him while screeching like a banshee. Needless to say, Adrian's immediate response was so scream.
"VINNY I NEED YOUR HELP RIGHT NOW IMMEDIATELY," Adrian yelped out, backing himself further intro the corner.
Adrian was now a panicked mess, and to make things worse it seemed that the strange viscet had started to actually growl. He new that wasn't right, there was no way that actually threatening customers was allowed. Luckily at this point, Vincent had ungracefully crashed through a screen to Adrian's rescue. Sensing that something was deeply wrong with the way the unknown viscet was acting, Vincent charged at the stranger, butting him in the head in hopes of getting them a few seconds. Not being one for confrontation, he quickly grabbed Adrian by the fluff on his neck and made a mad dash to the exit, where he could already see guards heading for the viscet that he had just charged at. As it would turn out, that viscet had not at all been part of the festivities, but a rogue intruder who was looking to pick fights with the unknowing customers of the haunted house. The pair decided to walk home, Vincent spoke first.
"Adrian, you could have told me you didn't want to go in."
"I know... but I didn't want you to think I'm a chicken. I'm usually the adrenaline junky and I acted like a viscling back there."
"That maniac just about pounced on you, I'd be a little shaken too. You've got nothing to worry about as far as I go."
Adrian hesitated before replying this time, "Thanks, Vin. Can we go back to your place? I never got groceries since I went to that party last night," the male guiltily ducked his head at his confession. Now it was Vincent's turn to think a bit.
"On the terms that you stop calling me those pet names in front of the few friends I have, then yes, I can pull out the futon and order takeout."
"You may or may not have a deal, then! Thanks VinVin."
"What did I just say?" Vincent rolled his eyes as he looked at the male walking next to him.
"We're not with your friends" Adrian cheekily replied before avoiding a cuff to the head.
"Whatever, let's get back to my place before a big bad moth or something scares you again." Vincent quipped. The pair eventually made it back to Vincent's apartment before downing a delightfully unhealthy takeout meal and passing out in their respective beds, both ready to forget the night.
