Dakota walked over the leaf littered floor, the leafs crunched under her feet, The trees waved to her in the wind,
She hummed a small tune to herself. The sun squeezed through small holes in the canopy, progecting its rays onto the floor.

Ginko stands near the top, eyes closed, breathing deeply to push away the erratic beating of their heart. This is it, they think, grin breaking out over their face. The rapid thumping in their ribcage grows even faster as the excitement and terror fully set in. They take one, two more steps forward before they work up the courage to open their tightly shut eyelids. When they finally do, wow.
The scene is breathtaking in more ways than one. At first, it's because Ginko is absolutely petrified of hights. The initial feeling of dread creeps over them. A lead weight sinks into their stomach, making them feel sick, and they have to take a step back to gather their bearings. Eplorers aren't scared.
When Ginko tries again, this time their sense of adventure wins. The quest rustle of the trees, the faraway crashing of an unseen waterfall, even the cheerful birdcall works wonders on their nerves so they can enjoy the view in peace. They sigh happily and sit back, removing a camera from the lanyard around their neck and try to find the right angle to capture the scenery.
They settle for a selfie, because in the end, It makes them feel a bit less afraid.

reached her destination. With a sigh, she dropped her heavy backpack on the leaf littered dirt. While still standing, she began to unpack her bag. That secluded area in the forest was her favorite place that she has ever been to.

During her stay, Leanne likes to picnic on the damp rocks by the small waterfall. She also loves to run her fingers through the icy water. Skipping stones on the water in the pool at the bottom is another enjoyable activity of hers. Watching the native animals is a fun yet relaxing pastime. Taking photographs of the mist and water dancing on the rocks is a must do for her. When the sun sets, she plays with the fireflies as they light up the space between the trees.

Killi stood along the street, eyeing the foggy morning. She breathe in, at peace in her surroundings. She began to recall on one of her adventures two years ago, she had stumbled upon this very street in this very city. Sure, she loved the rolling mountains and the babbling brooks. But this place had a timeless feel to the aged architecture. Her one and only favorite place in civilization. On this street years ago, she had found herself entering a tiny cafe. With its warm lighting in the autumn gloom, Killi felt relaxed and was pleased to see they had an open mic. She waited her turn and sang out a song that felt as timeless as the air around her. Soft, beautiful, and endless. People along the street had wondered in, following her voice that rang like a bell. When she had finished, the manager offered her a job. Killi reclined, promising to return one day, for at this time in her life, she had galaxies to ponder and paths to wander.

writing[200 words]; Living in the desert has never been easy; there are heatwaves and nosebleeds from the dry climate on top of the nearly constant state of dehydration that Steven is unfortunate enough to find himself in. Thankfully, his backyard is the entrance into a world of interesting creatures of skeletons just aching to be found. Steven loves running out back, past the cactus garden his mother insisted on planting, and exploring in the dunes. He's found a variety of objects: skulls of multiple sizes, a used bullet casing, a clear crystal, and different species of lizards that he's never seen before. Most days he can be found with his sketchbook laying in the dirt while he intricately doodles his newfound reptilian companion for his personal record of desert species. [ 128/200 ]

writing[200 words]; Here I stand on the precipice bordering the realms of earth and sky and sea. Beneath me is the chiseled cliffside and the sun-baked rock who shares its warmth with my feet. Above me sings the breeze its song of freedom, tickling my ears with its spirited dance. And ahead of me lies an eternal expanse of blue, whose mystique pulls at something deep inside me, a part that cannot be seen, only felt. I hear the war drums pounding in my chest and I know—it's time.

My eyes fixate on a point over the edge. No fear. No hesitation. The muscles in my legs tense, then explode forth with a burst of energy. The ground below me is gone, now behind me. My body arcs and twirls as I sail through salty air. My fur billows in the wind and I plunge down, down, down.

The sea opens its arms to welcome me, wrapping my body in its cool, wet embrace. I kick my way up to the surface, rolling idyllically onto my back. There I let myself float peacefully on the ocean waves, waiting for the thirst of adventure to return so that I might leap again.

ky claims to have 3 passions in their life: surfing, cartoons, and their girlfriend.
however, there's something aside from these that keeps them afloat. no matter
whether they're sitting on the futon watching anime with their darling or out riding
the waves, the ocean always seems to be there. it's their sense of comfort when
there's nothing to grasp onto. it reminds them of the things that they care about,
and serves as a break in the storm of life. even when their 3 everythings are out
of their reach, the sea tides tide them over until they can see their loves again.
to ky, the salty waters are the foundation of their life. without it, there would be
no guarantee of tomorrow. there would be nothing to land on if they fell. it is their
stability, their safety net. that's why, despite how much they love their warm sheets,
or the smell of sawdust in the surfboard workshop, or even the crowded, bustling
shoreline, they love no place more than the ocean.
