gotta flesh em out a lil bit.
top left;; maelyss [may-ah-leess], nicknamed mae or mael [may-ell]. dmab, questioning a bit but prefers he/him
- very soft and peaceful, not a fan of fighting. takes very good care of his hair. definitely a mommas boy and looks up to her a lot;; his dad kind of scares him but he tries to spend time with him doing 'boy' things. likes birds but they kinda scare him. he wants to explore the world and other places but doesn't want to leave his family. hardly ever playful, and because he's technically the oldest by a few minutes, often adopts a sense of responsibility over his siblings. skeleton/soft death & flower aesthetic and will hold tiny funerals for fallen animals he finds
top right;; circe, ALWAYS goes by frog, female
- the youngest and smallest, frog is hyper and very cuddly. she is adventurous and hardly scared [except of big animals], and tbh would squeeze a chicken to death. she loves plants, outdoors, and getting dirty; she is especially interested in plants with physical and mental affects on people, often having animals or maelyss as her test dummy. because she is so loud and bouncy compared to her siblings, her parents are often easily exhausted by her or push her away, and she will get emotional quickly in order to get the attention she wants. she has learned to be relatively independent.
bottom;; sibylla, goes by sibyl, gendervoid but uses she/her
- sibyl, from her first few minutes, was told she was destined to be a prophetess. a single village elder, the only one that would near their home, was present at the birth to bless the children by request of the mother and gasped at the sight of the middle child. growing up many expectations were placed upon her; her parents finally allowed her to travel into the village to learn more about herself, and her family was thus 'allowed' back into the village and all the rejection her mother had experienced was suddenly mended. her parents care deeply for her and watch her closer than the others, but sometimes her mother cannot bear to look upon her likeness. she appears relatively emotionless, typically quiet aside from laughing or sparse conversation.
