Audun was shunned for being different. His glowing eyes made him stand out and no one liked the fact that he got all of the attention. He didn't have any friends and was slowly losing hope of ever finding one. One day he walked into the woods feeling alone and desperate. That's when he met Charlie (he named the butterfly Charlie since he didn't know the gender of it) the butterfly. Audun didn't feel alone with Charlie. Even though Charlie never speaks they always stay beside Audun no matter what. Whenever Audun is in a bad mood Charlie is always able to make him smile.
