You are able to obtain eggs by doing the Daily Claims. You get a total of 10 eggs per daily claim.
You're also able to get them by doing daily art/writing prompts, which can be found here.

By entering a prompt, you automatically get 10 eggs, but if you the prompt you don't get the amount of eggs for entering a prompt, only the prize you get if you get a place. If you decide to do both art and writing, then it's 20 eggs. For first, second and third place, you'll get a different amount of eggs. You are also able to win a place in both art and writing prompts, and you can win multiple prompts.
First Place-30 Eggs
Second Place-20 Eggs
Third Place-15 Eggs
