Next selection for GAs will be the 1st of Next Month.
This is on-going and there is no longer phases. You'll simply make as many entries as you'd like and each month the artists & myself will go through and select 2 to 4 GAs.
[Welcome!]
To the Viscets' Guest Artist Comps!
Here will be an ongoing, never-ending Artist Competition for Guest Artists. Originally this competition existed in phases but we've decided against that now and are going for a more traditional GA search competition. Essentially you'll be allowed to make any many designs as you'd like to demonstrate your skill and each month the artists & myself will go through and select a few based on a few different criterias. We are looking for refined designs, ones with a lot of effort put in and time taken to smooth out the designs. We're also looking for consistency and an understanding of how our system works, including traits. There are still a few rules, please be sure to read through them to know what to do. Failure to do so will likely result in you being skipped over during selection time.
[Rules and Information]
✦ The amount of winners chosen will depend on the quality and quantity of entries.
✦ No more covers. Just plain ol' adopts out in the open.
✦ You can make as many entries as you'd like to in a month but we recommend no more than 10 in a singular month.
✦ If you were not hired for one month, you may enter again with different designs/attempts.
✦ There is no time limit on entries; all artists work at their own pace.
✦ No copying, be it other artist's entries or other artist's designs in general, from anywhere.
✦ Please keep to the given mutations and make no personal line edits, unless it follows the traits guidelines (horns, hair, ears, can all be personal line edits).
✦ All adopts are purely conceptual. These are not real, nor will they be adopted out. (unless you earn the position of guest artist and want to)
✦ If you need help with acquiring the PNG images or turning the canvas, feel free to ask.
✦ The lines given in this comp are to be used for no other purpose than entry in this comp.

[Guest Artists Designs]
✦ You can design as many Fake Adopts on this thread as you want in hopes of getting picked as a Guest Artist
but again we suggest no more than 10 per month.
✦ Only one of your Fake adopts can have 1 uncommon trait per month (same for if you get the guest artist position)
✦ If you make it to being a guest artist for a month, you can re-use the designs you make in your try outs here.
✦ Few GAs end up being selected for a second month in a row. This is based on how well the designs go over with the community and your attitude.
✦ Your activity level in the community, as well as your ability to design well will determine whether you get picked
✦ If you are selected to be a Guest artist for a month you'll be able to do the following:✦ Create up to 5 designs. Only 1 with 1 uncommon mutation of your choice.
no customs | no runner ups | no honorable mentions
✦ Also; on occasion if we have a guest artist who just goes above and beyond with their designs may be awarded guest artist for a second month in a row. And potentially more depending upon their general attitude, team mentality as well as their activity in the community.
