What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Yes. Those three letters. Let me tell you why. Whenever anyone posts those three letters, she knows that there is a good chance that whatever was before those letters, art, a story, a form, anything, will never be finished. EVER. People don't do it intentionally, it just happens. People forget, or loose motivation. And she veneer gets to see the finished product, which maker see very sad, especially when the sketch or draft is amazing. So that is why...

Story/Description/etc:
The wind, curling gracefully through the tall oak trees, whispered in the mare's speckled ear. She flicked them, tuning them to the song of the rushing air. Her eyes, as bright and golden as the sun's rays flitting across her back, were fixed firmly on the far fence while she grazed. The wind rushed past again, chilling her as it whistled through her thin speckled coat. Its song rose to more than a gentle melody as it picked up speed.
Lifting her head, still chewing a mouthful of delicious, fresh ranch grass, she gazed out upon the massive plots of paddocks. The barn was a mere red speck, and acres upon acres of fresh pasture rolled out before her. Distant whinnies faintly brushed her ear fur as horses raised their heads to call out to horses in the neighboring paddocks.
The mare felt it all - the freedom, the rush of adrenaline, as she stood there upon the tallest hill in the paddock. She looked down upon her fellow horses, grazing below her on the flatter grass. The hills themselves seemed to move as the wind wreathed through it, rippling the grass like breath on water. Her mane and tail were caught by the wind and blown forwards, and she raised her head proudly. Letting out a whinny, reared, slashing her hooves in the air. Her proud gaze scanned the landscape as she plunged down the hillside, racing along, her hooves pounding the ground. Her legs ate up the distance between her and the far fence as she galloped, her mane whipping back and forth in the wind.
Horses around her raised their heads curiously to see this speckled mare. One of them followed, her coat as black as the night sky, green eyes flashing dangerously. A smirk appeared on her face as she raced up behind the mare, staying directly behind her. The dark mare's sharp teeth glinted in the sun as she opened her mouth and dropped her head. Her face was whipped by the fleabitten mare's tail, but her mouth made contact with the speckled horse's rump and clamped tight. Her ears flipped back and the mare whirled around, but just to see a raven black mare grazing peacefully a horse-length away. Angry, the headstrong fleabitten mare turned to nurse her wound. There were deep teethmarks in it, and the pride in her gaze gave way to cold anger.
"What was that for, Raven?" She snorted, stomping up to the dark mare. Raven looked up, her gaze reflecting nothing but shock and hurt.
"What are you talking about, Allara? I didn't do anything to you!" She protested, her ears flipping back.
"Don't lie to me, Raven." Allara retorted, her ears pressed against her head in anger. "You bit me!" She whirled around to show the angry red bite mark on her flank. "Don't tell me you don't know where this came from!"
"Well, I don't!" Raven replied, her voice shrill with fear. "I didn't put that mark on your flank! Why would I do such a thing?"
"Because... because.. because you're Raven!" Allara fumbled over her words. Raven was turning the situation around and making it seem like SHE was to blame! Anger coursed through the speckled mare, and embarrassment. The other mares in the paddock had strolled up, gazing at her with a mixture of contempt and anger. They all clearly thought she was accusing Raven unfairly.
"I don't know about you," Raven tossed her mane in contempt. "But I'd get some real proof before accusing someone of something they didn't do." Her glittering green gaze met with Allara's, full of hatred. Soon the dark mare disappeared in a throng of horses and out of view.
Allara's head drooped. All the fight had left her now, and her mane lay flat against her neck like a dying leaf. All she could think of was Raven's green gaze, burning with hatred. Hatred and insanity.
