Lykaios (or Lykaio if there's only one) are a cross between a fish, an otter and a wolf. They are slightly larger than a pet cat and have sharp teeth and front claws. Lykaios are omnivores but most of them prefer meat and fish over fruit or veg. They prefer water but are willing to go on land aswell. Lykaios LOVE humans or any species that is not their own due to their adventurous nature. A Lykaio can also be somewhat territorial of their belongings. When sleeping in water with a mate or a friend Lykaios will hold hands to prevent driffting away from each other.

Looking back on the event later, Altair would tell you that it had probably been a bad idea. Actually, it had definitely been a bad idea. Oh, well. He was still alive, after all, and now he got to look really cool - how great was that?

The main problem with being a solo amateur scientist was that there wasn't anyone around to tell you when (if!) you were doing something wrong. Not that the eccentric Lykaio cared - it was a lot more fun to be able to do whatever you wanted, whenever, and in Altair's case that was mainly trying to mix different chemicals until they exploded. Good times.

Of course, this was a very risky thing to be doing, and one day an explosion went terribly wrong, leaving Altair green and glowing for life.

There were many bright sides to this once he discovered that he wasn't actually sick or dying. He looked amazing (the perfect Halloween costume) and it seemed that now radiation didn't bother him at all. He's been spending a lot of his time lately in radioactive areas, trying out brand-new sciencey things that no one else can (safely) attempt.

Hey guys- judging was super hard (even though there were only a couple entries!), but I finally made myself choose.

The winner of this Lykaio is aerofox.! I loved your art, and I felt like it really fit well with this guy? Hope you enjoy him!
