This kiddo's contest will be simple!
It'll be a short personality contest (max 500 words) with three extras (300 words per extra or one art piece per extra)

-Both Sassafrass and Mochi (Onion's parents) are male.
-While Sass does not like children, he specifically does not like those annoying children at the carnival. He would not be abusive or rude to his own children.
-You'll have to pm/message Supernovacity as they own Onion's sibling, Duck.
-Mochi and Sassafrass both live in an apartment, and they stay in town as that's where Sass' carnival job takes place during the summer. During winter, Sass works at a grocery store

quiet. unsuspecting. a calm, serene boy that looks like he could go through life with his eyes closed. but Swan is a careful, thoughtful tactician behind his poker face.

he has a favourite pastime of conducting social experiments on other Kalons, to see how they would react, and he utilizes his findings in daily life. every action carefully calculated and geared towards others' reactions to get what he wants. although he's very interested in social interaction and the ties to emotions, Swan isn't very good at expressing his own personal feelings. he would only speak if he's sure of something, if he has all the cards in his hand, but it's not quite the real, unfiltered emotions that the other Kalons can so easily spill. he might have a problem with empathizing.

Swan has a will and determination to do all it takes to rise to the top and be the best, even if it meant having to drag himself, even if it meant underhanded tricks, even if it meant loss of time for fun and family and sleep.

at a young age, he's already strayed into the grayer, monotonous part of the world, exploring the back alleys and in love with the romanticized idea of the gritty, shadowed, knives in the back world. he has too much freedom, that boy, and it wouldn't be surprising if he came home injured one day. while he has a good grasp of the world, better than most kits his age, Swan still tends to get into more trouble than he can handle.

he picks up bits and pieces of knowledge from his everchanging roster of hobbies. one day it might be bird watching. the next day might be speed knitting. the third might be experimenting with the other uses of over-the-counter medicine. while his hodgepodge mixture of knowledge and know-how is handy, Swan often gets in over his head by overestimating himself but ends up being too prideful to admit he hasn't got that thing down pat, and will run away to some corner to lick his wounds.

dream occupation:
as a kit, Swan has wanted to be plenty of different things, but they all had one thing in common- the want to help people. in more recent times, Swan has more or less settled on a career field he wants. he wants to help the general public directly, so while the sciences were helpful in the long run, Swan wanted results right away. so his line of thought brought him towards the medical field, or more specifically, psychiatry. the study of medicine focusing on the diagnosing, treating and preventing mental, emotional and behavioral disorders appealed to him. with a bit more research, Swan is fairly certain this is the path for him, and he will claw his way up to the top. but for now, he will be a kit exploring his unknown world.
