The stranger fox brings you to a warm den. You can't remember her name... Tree? Holly? You aren't sure (Don't go back to check what her name is X3). You sniff around an see two elder foxes. The female smells like herbs, but sour, and the male smells like pine needles. It burns your nose to continue smelling, so you watch carefully. You feel a difference in your eyes. They shift to a separate shape, but you don't know what shape. You don't know many things.
Anyway, before you get sidetracked into your thoughts, you look over at the hypnotizing vixen, or, the one you met before. She smiles at you and walks toward the brown tod. The reynard stares at you. One of his eyes is not functioning properly. You can tell it does not see you, and your eye even scans him for you, but you do not understand the language. It seems a little serious, so you remember to stay aware.
You then look at the gray vixen, whose presence is much less disturbing. You do, however, question why her eyes are shut, but you say nothing. You sniff at what could be in the basket, but the sharp pine scent conceals the answer to your question.
Then, the young vixen-- the one with the face-- wait, you meant, "the one with the red face," because that sounded rude, but her face isn't quite "red," per se, it's more vermilion. You ask yourself why this is even being elaborated in your head, which makes you wonder if others think like this, too. Anyway, she-- the vixen with the vermilion face --looks at you and steps in front of you, leaving her back open to the elders. They do not attack, however.
She bows down and says, while gesturing to each individual, "This is Lord Rein. He is the leader of our village." She looks at him, then back to you. "And this-" she sets out a black paw to the female elder, "is Iena. She is the current medic and is currently teaching me how to be the medic. We have other medics, too, they just aren't as gifted. She is also Lord Rein's mate."
You immediately wonder whether or not the sour-smelling vixen is the red-masked vixen's mother, but you decide against it, especially since the masked one said, "She isn't my mother!"
You swear, she must be a WITCH!
Anyway, you were asked what your business here was, and you had no answer, but Willow-- that was her name. Lord... whatever the heck his name is... called her, "Willow!!!"-- Anyway, Willow covered for you, saying, "He doesn't have much business here. I just wanted to ask Iena if I could 'cross the river'." You had absolutely no clue what she meant, but you knew it wasn't like what it sounded because she put emphasis on it.
Iena, after some convincing, eventually said, "Fine." You looked at Willow, and she smiled at you. You were startled when she grabbed your scruff and tugged you out of the den.

[Author's note: Hi there! I hope you guys are enjoying the story. It's been fun for me, but schoolwork is getting in the way of these pages, so I may only make a few per week, until I get a break. If a friend comes over on weekends, I won't be able to work on it as much, but I promise to work as hard as possible on these and make it a fun ride, even if there are some stalls and certain choices go on for quite a while as a line. Remember: You CAN die in this, but if you are too nice, too mean, etc., you may have some problems with living, so... BUT: I am not going to be descriptive with gore because it should be more child-friendly, so everyone may read this.]
