Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

How does this Kalon see themselves in the mirror?:
When he looks in the mirror, he sees a monster. Not a monster that lurks under your bed, or at the corner of your eye in the shadows, No, he doesn't deserve that . One that is able to kill and snicker at the remains. One that is able to kill and watch as the world around him falls. Yes, he's a monster. The world pushed him. They pushed him and pushed him, kicking and shoving him, and when he pushed back, they pointed and screamed "evil".
When he looks in the mirror, he shudders. He shudders from the coldness of his eyes, the piercing feeling of his pupils looking back at him, the threatening glances on his shoulders, as he watches them shake in agony. The scars from the world surrounding his broken and mangled body, like a cocoon. As his pulse begins to slow as he continues to glare, as if testing his reflection to see if they are afraid of the man before them. Afraid of the monster that laid before them, the tormented and crippled beast. The dead eyes stared back into the mirror, looking at every little feature on the tear-stained face, tossed around like a toy.
When he looks in the mirror, he sees destruction. The lost souls of the dead that were tormented by his hands. Those who had to suffer by his crazed mind, and his bloodthirsty thoughts.Their final breath beneath his boot. Their last hope destroyed. Their final warm feeling, of the sweet release of unconsciousness, as they drift away from his brutal hands. Those who never leave him stay. Making sure his life will be nothing but a game to them. So he will feel what they felt. So he will see what they see. So he would feel what they feel.
When he looks in the mirror, he breaks it. The feeling of a shattering mirror hold his scarred fist as he remembers. The sharp, yet smooth pain of glass sliding on his hand. The joy of it. The warm feeling in his heart from it. Thought he could no longer see himself, he could feel. Feel the color drip across his hand, and head as the giggled. A slight smirk and a laugh as he sat broken and abused. The mirror told him the truth, but he did not want to live it. He wanted to swim in the bliss that was his thoughts. His twisted, corrupted, but his. He couldn't realize it, but he was licking his fangs. The smooth tooth pricked his tongue and set a shudder down his back. The soft feeling of the small blade soothed him. Before he could realize it, he drew blood from his tongue.
"STOP!"
He cried, gripping his hand and pushing down on the wound.
"C-control, you monster."
But why? You love the feeling

how does this kalon see themself in the mirror?; Simone sighed, her tired eyes blinking in her reflection, but she didn't feel it. She didn't feel like that was her. It felt like a movie that she was watching from comfortable seats, with a bag of popcorn in her lab. She saw the figure lift a paw, the fur tangled, and brush the hair out of her eyes. At that same moment, she saw the paw in front of her, moving her hair away. The shock of it hit her like lightning: it was her. This tired, overworked kalon, blearily shaking off sleep, was her. Simone Simmons. Simone shook her head in an attempt to clear her mind. This is pulling me to the ground. I need to stop. Why? Why can't I stop myself from helping them? They can do those things themselves, I know they can... But.. they needed help.... No. I need help. I need to take time for me. Simone smiled at her reflection, and it smiled back. Today was the day. The day she could finally say 'No' to others. They day she could take back her life, and stop doing everything she was told. Picking up a pair of scissors, the female lifted them to her hair.

Snip. Snip. Snip. The quiet sound echoed in her mind as she cut her hair, previously long, to short. Every time the scissors separated another lock, her shoulders felt lighter, as if a weight was lifted off. Simone hesitated over the last one, wincing as she hovered over it. Then, she gently placed the scissors on her dresser, and began to braid it. Braid her hair for the first time in 7 years. The first time since her mother died. I've been trying to help others do things they can do themselves in a desperate attempt to deal with loosing her. But now I know. I don't need to do that anymore. I am free. Thank you, mother.

he's quite the daring fellow, actually.

judah, in his own belief of course, was sculpted to the proportions of a greek god, more
specifically, adonis, the greek god of male beauty. he wasn't being narcissistic; he was
merely relaying the truth of course.


extra - star hairpin item:

so what's this about the star hairpin tucked in his hair? well that's judah's most treasured
possessions!

what you may not know is that judah's hairpin is made of gold ... well fool's gold, that is.

you'd probably think judah traveled across the world to find it. probably thought he dug
it up from the ruins of an ancient civilization. shed sweat, blood, and tears just to get a
hold of it. a household item that's been passed on throughout the ages. risked his life to
find this hairpin.

but nah, he's actually quite the narcissist around here. he saw it sitting in the window of
a jewelry shop and without second thoughts, bought it, never realizing he had paid thou
sands upon thousands of dollars for a fake jewel.

of course, he doesn't realize that the hairpin is just made out of pyrite ( otherwise known
as fool's gold ) yet he wears it on his head everyday, lifting his head up as if he's king.

despite it being fake gold and all, it's one of the most precious items that judah considers
amongst all the other jewelry and gems that he hoards. sometimes, something worthless
may be priceless and mean the world to someone else.

The face before her, while she knew in the back of her mind it was her, was unrecognizable. It looked like a stranger was staring back at her. She blinked a few times, seeing if the image in the mirror would change, to something more a like to how she imagined herself to look. Opening her eyes once more, the same unfamiliar face looked back at her. She frowned turning away from the mirror. Now Astrella remembered why she avoided it.

Male| Mirror; Yuelai saw a young kalon in the mirror, a young male who was ready to take on t
he world, no matter what he looked like on the outside, or what people thought of him, none
of it mattered. He saw himself, a reflection of something that was not perfection, someone w
ho needed to prove himself in so many ways, and had so many goals for the future, had big dr
eams he didn't want to let go. He sees a kalon who reflects the stars, just as his fur reflects th
e night sky. He twinkles and flashes in the sky, just like the stars do. Yuelai has good days, has
bad days; on good days, he shines brightly and lights up the room with laughter and playful inn
ocence, and on bad days, he's like a dimmed, dying light, a kalon who just droops with heavy
angst and sadness. Through his het eyes, Yuelai sees the stars, the mystery of the astral bodies,
his future, and no, he doesn't see any perfection, but he sees individualism and uniqueness, pa
ired with the flaws that makes a kalon, kalon.

extra; Yuelai loves to dance in the moonlight, where his fur shines brightly, the starry night sk
y reflected on his fur. He's a graceful dancer, with an elegant step, sharp movements and lacks
clumsiness when he twirls on the tall, grassy ground under the shining moon & His favorite moo
n phase is the full moon, where it's light can shine brightly on the dark earth, still lighting up t
he world in a different glow than the sun does. It lights up his fur as he delicately flounces in,
the grass below him cool to the touch and soothing. But when he isn't dancing, Yuelai loves to
lay in the soft grass, and star up at the moon, its brightness as entrancing as ever. But regardl
ess as to whether or not Yuelai is dancing or not, he loves the night, the moon and the stars. S
o much so, that even his name/nickname is Yue, which means Moon.
