This bebe is based on a few ideas in my head.
It's summer and i am seeing the trailers for Moana, which comes out next year?
I'm psyched, so i did something in honor of it! Of course, nothing too crazy but defiantly fun!

What is their story?: She wasn't a pet, but she liked to hang around a family humans quietly. Their small child had first seen her. The daughter had been lost for two days, and since she was young, she had no idea where she was. She lost hope. Kenzie heard the crying, and with her antennae glowing in the dark, starless night, guided the little girl home. So she's been a good luck charm to the family.
One day, the father of the human family was working on fixing their broken air conditioner. It was super hot for all of them, especially Kenzie with all of her fur! And worse, the refrigerant gas was leaking and it was such a horrible smell. An alarm went off in Kenzie's head. That little girl! She always had an instinct to protect her, and the time came again for her to do just that. She tried telling the girl's mother they were going for a walk to the park, which was far away from the potentially harmful gas and had a lot of shade. The mother, of course, didn't understand. But she trusted Kenzie. The girl and Kenzie went for their walk and the girl noticed something. "Makenzie, is your hair making you too hot? Is it too heavy? Can I do your hair for you?!?!" She said clumsily. On the way, the girl picked pretty flowers. What was she doing? Maybe it's just a human thing.

They arrived at the park and rested in the shade. Fresh air, cool breeze. Perfect. The girl started to comb Kenzie's hair with her fingers,, and for a young clumsy girl, she was pretty good at it! She twisted it into pretty braids, clipping them with hair pins she'd sneaked into her pocket from her mother's room. "I learned this in camp!"
Then, she presented Kenzie with a beautiful flower crown. Kenzie's eyes grew wide with excitement. Was it really for her?!
It was! But it didn't fit on her head. This was disappointing to the girl. She didn't want to make it smaller but she wanted her stellune friend to wear it. Seeing her sad, Kenzie took the crown and put it on her tail, where it fit.
The girl looked and instantly smiled, clapping and bursting with laughter. Kenzie jumped in circles, feeling beautiful with her heavy hair not dragging on the ground (and keeping it up made her cooler) and her flower crown. She's very careful not to destroy it.

her story ⋆ makani felt her long hair fondly. currently it went down to her "elbows", but...
she wanted it cut. of course she could do that, but she was a shy stellune; she was afraid of
everyone silently judging her. well, at least she could talk to her parents about it. she sighed
and padded into her cottage, part of the village near the ocean. the cottage smelled faintly
of lavender and soap, a sweet smell.
"mom? dad?" kani called out, disturbing dust motes in the sunlit cottage. her parents swiftly
trotted out of their room to kani's right. the main room was the kitchen, then behind it was
the living room. to the right of the kitchen was the hallway connecting the rooms.
"yes kani? what's up?" her dad asked cheerfully.
"um.. i kind of want to cut my hair? to my shoulders," she replied hopefully.
her mother looked surprised. "you're not the type to do this kind of thing... but if your heart's
set on it, go for it!" kani smiled weakly. i hope i'm mentally prepared for this, she worried.
less on how it would look, more on how people would think of it. she inhaled sharply, and shut
her eyes. i can do this. it's not even a big deal. kani had only gotten her hair cut in small
trims, nothing as dramatic as this.
"thanks," she said nervously. "tomorrow, then?"

kani's mother cut her hair. kani closed her eyes gently, not wanting to look at her reflection in
the antique mirror facing her. she heard the satisfying snips of the barber scissors, and felt the
scratchy whoosh of hair brushing against her cloak.
"hey, kani, i'm done. why don't you take a look?" kani's head felt exceedingly lighter. she
opened up her eyes slowly, despite her excitement inside. she looked in the mirror. her reflection
stared back.
"it's great," she finally said. and it really was.

"oh my gosh!" was all she seemed to hear the next day in the village. her friends swooned over
her hair, kani modestly thanking them with a huge smile. sometimes, being brave is really great
... even though this haircut was a very small thing.
i hope you enjoyed that cheesy crappy story about her coming out of her shell uwu

personality and flaws ⋆ kani is, in general, really sweet and caring, a motherly figure.
she does her best to be nice to everyone, even people who have wronged her in the past. she
forgives easily and is one of the most trustworthy stellunes you will ever see. however, all that
comes with flaws. she is really shy when she first meets people to the point where she wont even
say a word. once she warms up, she's more willing to make strange jokes freely. she is also too
trusting which, unfortunately, will lead to inevitable heartbreak.

You may interpret this any way you'd like~
For example, you can make it a story about how they became who they are today, someone significant in their childhood, or even lore about them! I'm open to alot as long as its your own made story about them!

Hope this helps, i will make this more apparent for everyone on the post too.
