Verkliens have an abundance of subspecies among their own kind. Though they are all so inbred that many of those subspecies are unidentifiable. There is, however, a very elusive subspecies which the Verkliens have dubbed, Nymphs. These Nymphs are hidden and are considered uncivilized compared to other Verkiens as they believe technology could ruin them all. The hibernate most of the year, as they have very short fur and are very thin, only coming out in summer in order to reproduce, work on their homes, hunt and prepare for the coming fall. Some of these Nymphs, however, have lighter fur and thick clothing which allow them to live throughout the year.

I've been thinking about a good competition, and I think I've come up with a good one.
The pelt and the skull are from the same creature, what did it look like when it was alive? This is an alien creature, so I want to see what you can come up with. No limitations but only one small extra allowed, of either art or 300 words.
