Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Art is very important to Cal. He likes to paint landscapes and puts them in order, not by how much he likes them, but by the date they were created. busby's favorite hobby is simple- on any sort of day- (winter, summer, anything)
he lies down in a forest that is on his property, and just looks at the sky. sometimes
he listens to music, and sometimes he sleeps. it's his favorite thing to do- he just
takes in the world. it helps him get ready for the day, and it makes him feel good.

He creates mini-documentaries about any interesting subject he can make an account of in his community. After all, everything has its own story. He even had the pleasure of following a little kitty and her own kits around town one time, just seeing how a normal day went for one of the town's token strays. He's always been fascinated with his grandfather's own little film hobby, and to honor his memory Francis deals with film in his own little way. He likes to be behind the camera instead of in front of it, though. He's a tad camera-shy. His mild overbite shows off his teeth and gives him a lisp he's somewhat subconscious about, so he's not the most articulate fellow- but he does try to make his actions speak louder than his words. Without fail, he's always overjoyed when the kalons and other creatures in his community adore his little documentaries. (150 words)
