You hear the sound of a walking stick tapping against the ground as a middle aged Sima approached you, milky silver eyes seeming to fixate on you despite being unable to see. Trotting behind her, you see a small orphan, eager and curious about you- the newcomer.
Smiling warmly at you, the manager of the orphanage spoke with a voice laced with no malice. " Why, hello there! We found this little child at our doorstep, do you want to take him/her home?"

it's that time of the year for the United States to celebrate their own founding, so i decided to make an orphan for this occasion.

- Anybody can try out, but if anyone I know is going to try, I'll be hiring guest judges to prevent bias.

- there's an American flag item hidden in the first few layers, totally optional

- This adopt requires parents!

- all of the things you'll find in the form are required.

- prettying up is fine! no more extras than what i permit.

- adult simas for the parents only! the only exception is if you have a PPS sima on either teen or kit lines with adult mentality

- i used the airbrush on scatter 210% and size 2 to make the firework markings. vuv used the lightest two purple colors for that on Add 100%

- his/her hair glows and is sparkly, as well as the jewel! the jewel is the same as the eye color, has a sparkler-like edit to it

- feet glow and sparkle as well

Personality:
Liberty is a quiet, but prideful little kit. She enjoys acting like a 'little adult' and acts much more mature than she really is... Well, most of the time. She can become a bit too bossy around other kits. Other than that, she's a pretty friendly kit. She deeply embraces her Americanism, even though she was not born in the States. She was born in a third world country, but her new adoptive mother, Puffin, taught her that where you were born doesn't stop you from being American. Therefore, she became very patriotic. When she grows up, she plans on becoming a conservation scientist to help keep her home beautiful. She hates seeing the natural beauty of the country become destroyed due to people's carelessness. She vows to keep her new homeland safe no matter what it takes. After all, it's her home too, and home of many others.

Why would the adoptive parents be ideal parents & Why do they want to adopt the kit?
Puffin knew that she wanted to adopt kits when she and her mate could not produce anymore together. So she set off to find the perfect kit. One that she shared many interests with, one that needed a home badly. It wasn't long until she stumbled across Liberty nearby the orphanage on the Fourth of July buying sparklers, purely by accident. Puffin then learned that this kit, although wasn't born the USA, adored everything about the country and really wanted to become adopted to become an official citizen. Puffin, who also loves America (evident by her bowtie), knew this was the right kit. A kit she could celebrate every Fourth with. So she found her mate, Jacoff, and the the two adopted the kit that day. Puffin adores her new daughter, and loves teaching her about the USA. In turn, she also enjoys learning about Liberty's former country's culture and traditions. Puffin had usually been consumed in her pride for her own country, she barely knew anything about others. Learning about Liberty's country has opened her eyes and helped her enjoy other cultures as well as her own. Puffin and Liberty get along very well, and Liberty loves her new mom.

Do they like fireworks?
Yes, very much so. When she was adopted by her parents, they took her to a huge firework show to celebrate her adoption and new home. Now, they remind her of her new loving family.

What's their favorite kind of firework?
Sparklers. They're quieter and like a mini firework all to her own! Puffin often buys them for her.

How did they end up at the orphanage?
When Liberty was a bit younger, she was left not too far from the orphanage without much except a toy and her birth certificate. Her parents had a tough life, and were not able to care for her as their own country had tough living conditions. They thought their daughter would have a much better life with an American family. The orphanage searched for records of the parents, but none could be found. It is unknown whether her biological parents are alive or not.

Personality:
Izzy is one of those that thrives for fun and adventure, and because of that she tends to find herself between a rock and a hard spot quite often. She is a carefree soul and very compassionate to those in need. Very loyal to those she considers friends and will always help out where she can. She can also be a bit mischievous at times, and likes to plan adventures with others.

Why would the adoptive parents be ideal parents & Why do they want to adopt the kit?
Theo and Caspian have reached a point in there relationship where they would like a kit, but are not ready to have one of there own just yet. They believe that the love they have would be better suited for one without parents. They believe that they would be good parents for one without because, they have lots of love to give, warm and open hearts, a warm loving home, shoulders to cry on, and ears that will always listen. One of their greatest wishes is, to help a young one in need and to give them the home they deserve.

Do they like fireworks?
Yes, she absolutely loves them.

Why not/What's their favorite kind of firework?
Her favorite kind of firework would have to be Artillery shells. Why, because they come in an array of colors, and she loves the boom when they are set off.

How did they end up at the orphanage?
Everyone you ask, will tell you they are unsure of how she came to reside at the orphanage; though, some do have their speculations. Some say she was dropped off on the doorstep of the orphanage by her parents, who were unable to care of her. Others say, she wondered off from her parents and became lost, and somehow found herself at the orphanage. The only one that truly knows how Izzy came to be at the orphanage is Izzy herself, but she won't talk about it.

Why do they want to adopt the kit? Dyavol was
never one for little children but recently, he's been
having some bad luck in the love situation a figured
a new additions to the family would help with that.
At first, he used Lib as a 'cute card' with the ladies
but he soon fell in love with the little spirited soul
and now calls her his 'own little firecracker'.
Do they like fireworks? surprisingly... not rea
lly. only the huge ones that shoot into the sky.
Why not/What's their favorite kind of firework?
as an even younger sima, she had some back experien
ces at the orphanage and fireworks. Once when they
were lighting off small little ground fireworks. The lit
tle container that held the firework tipped over while
it was lit and shot towards her. Then about a year late
r, she had an incident with sparklers that ended up w
ith her having a burn spot on her head and a deep fea
r of sparklers. Though she doesn't like ground firework
s and sparklers, she LOVES sky fireworks and loves no
thing more than to see the ones that look like
weeping willows.
How did they end up at the orphanage? nobody re
ally truly knows who her parents are. all they kno
w is that on one fourth of July, someone dropped this ba
by sima off at the door and left without a trace. Only th
e name of [Liberty] on a card in which her name was ch
anged to Librance or 'Lib for short. In which that nickna
me was given to her by her adoptive-father.
