Name: Kadar, meaning "powerful."
Gender: Male, he/him or they/them.
Opinion of pirates: Being raised and loved by pirates, Kadar loves pirates with all of his heart. Kadar wants to grow up to be a pirate - exactly like the stereotypes. He wants to grow up to be the toughest one, who steals treasure and becomes rich. He wants to be a role model to other pirates and be called, "The Pirate King." Despite all these dreams, he still doesn't know who'll be in his future crew since he doesn't really enjoy being around others. Doing everything himself would be really challenging, though. He may have to hire people, but he plans to be a bossy, bossy captain.
Personality: When you first meet Kadar, he comes off as a grumpy and impolite Kalon. He often tells strangers to go away and leave him alone. To him, he doesn't need friends. People besides his family to him are awful and don't deserve Kadar's kindness. He loves to show off things he has to strangers. His only friends is his family and his pets. He rarely bullies other people but he always have a clear reason for doing this. To others, he doesn't seem to laugh a lot but the truth is...only his family can make him giggle! Goofy faces are definitely something that cracks Kadar up. He tries to be the cool kid, which is part of the reason why he doesn't make friends. He thinks he'll get more respect and people will wish they can be friends with him.
Relationship with Anahita (Kit #2): Kadar enjoys Anahita's boldness, although he feels bad that she jokes about her problems. For this, Kadar tries to make her stop joking about her problems. He wants to help her solve her problems and make her happy again. He would love to make goofy faces to make Anahita giggle or brighten up her mood. If that fails, Kadar will offer her a hug or food. Kadar's family is the only people Kadar truly loves and cares about.
Relationship with Chad: Kadar's other two parents visit Chad time to time and when they do, Kadar gets excited! He loves being able to talk to Chad because he misses him so much when he's back at the other ship. He tells Chad all about what happened back in the other ship, all of the fishes he caught, and how he wants to be a pirate king! Kadar looks up to Chad, thinking that he's one awesome pirate. Kadar really, really wants to be a lot like Chad when he grows up.
Relationship with The Jackal/Juno: Since Kadar is around his mom more than Chad, Kadar looks up to his mom more. He just admires how talented Juno is and wants to be as talented as her. Giving her hugs is one of the best things Kadar does for his mom, he also loves all of the fluff Juno has. He follows what his mom has done, earning power. That's definitely something Kadar wants to earn...power.
Relationship with Dommy: Kadar hates to admit but, he doesn't really look up to Dommy. She's pretty cool according to Kadar, but...nothing Dommy does makes Kadar want to do too. He feels terribly bad for thinking that way, but he hopes he'll find a way to look up to her. One thing he really digs about Dommy, is that she's a little animal obsessed! Which means she allowed Kadar to have pet rats.
Hobbies: One of Kadar's favorite hobbies is fishing! He loves all kinds of fishes he seen in the ocean so he begged his parents to buy him a fishing rod. He catches fish and usually releases them back into the water, he doesn't keep much of the fish he catches since they don't look tasty enough or sometimes because they aren't pretty enough to show off to people. Another one is writing about his dreams in his journal. He wants to be able to lucid dream one day, and he wants to be able to write it down when it happens. Kadar also has some awesome dreams he wants to write down to remember forever!
Pets: Kadar wanted a friend deep down inside, but he didn't like other people. He talked to Juno and Dommy about getting a pet. Kadar didn't want a pet too large due to him living on a ship, he didn't want the pet too small because he didn't want it to get lost. After some researching, Kadar found the perfect pet - dumbo rats. They were cute, not too small, not too big, and they love to climb on you once they are comfortable with you! Juno and Dommy found a good dumbo rat breeder who let Kadar have two female rats. One of them is a striped black roan dumbo named, "May." She loves to ride on Kadar's back and curls up in his tail fluff. Sometimes May tries to lick Kadar's tongue! Kadar hates to admit that...sometimes he lets May do that. His other rat is a black self dumbo named, "Bonnie." She loves to crawl around Kadar and sleep in his hair. Bonnie also loves to sniff Kadar's tail shine a lot, he doesn't know why though.
Short Story: It was early in the morning, Kadar's parents went out to do adult-things Kadar could careless about. There was no one on the beach yet, which gave Kadar time to catch a fish to show off to others. His fellow rats slept in his hair curled up as if they were in a fluffy nest, moving every so often to get comfortable. Kadar looked at the dark blue ocean, it seemed to have very little fish today. The fish swam past the hook and acted like it was never there. Kadar started to get a little frustrated but he was glad he bought his journal with him. It was full of stories from previous dreams he had before that he wanted to remember for the rest of his life. He turned a few pages until he found an amusing dream he had several nights ago. Kadar's mood brighten up a bit and he sighed happily. Somehow, today felt like it was going to be a good day. Until minutes later, a strange Kalon arrived.
"Is it that time already...?" Kadar whispered, looking at the far away Kalon. The brown Kalon walked with a towel on his arm, but something seemed...odd about this Kalon. Kadar squinted to see clearly. Oh. My. God. The Kalon just had the ugliest swim trunks on! Purple with green dots? Ewwww, what kind of person wears that?! Kadar glanced back at the ocean, still barely had any fish. However, he noticed his worm was gone! That Kalon must of distracted him that he forgotten he was fishing! Kadar jumped up so suddenly that his rats woke up, spooked out. "Shhhh, it's okay." He whispered to his rats on his head. He picked up his fishing rod and headed straight for that Kalon. No Kalon is going to get away like that.
He marched to the Kalon who was sitting on his towel, Kadar realized how much bigger the Kalon was up close. He huffed and stood in front of the Kalon. The Kalon looked at him and smiled, "Hey." Kadar gave the Kalon a disgusted look, "You and your ugly swim trunks distracted me from my fishing, I could of caught a large beautiful fish if you decided to wear something prettier." The Kalon gasped then scowled, "Did you just call my fashion ugly?" He stood up and glared down at Kadar. Kadar stepped back, but he was not afraid. "Yes, I did. Now go buy better clothes." Kadar wanted to this over with already, but he had a feeling the Kalon would not back down. The Kalon growled, "How dare you insult my fashion! I was raised to love this fashion. Leave me alone and catch that stupid fish you want so bad." Kadar was ready to shout back something mean, but this Kalon wasn't worth arguing to anymore. Kadar turned back and walked to the dock. He didn't turn back to the Kalon.
"People sure can be real weirdos." He muttered.
