There's been an update in the rules:
you may only apply for up to two kalons at a time!

Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

This kalon has a shorter than average tail, and some shorter fur as well.

personality: you can call mari a pretty odd kalon, thinking of strange ideas that people might frown upon, but she doesn't really care about anyone else's opinion. due to her tomboyish nature, you'll find her causing trouble and getting into some strange situations. mari always has a smile, either a friendly smile or a mischievous smile. she's adventurous, of course.

hobby: mari is a viner! she loves making vines of her pulling pranks or doing "some sick parkour" or maybe just shooting some "relatable" vines. she's known as 'marinaspaghetti' and has many fans among her fellow kalons, well known or not. she also has a snapchat where she posts pictures of she and her friends hanging out, or maybe trying those filters or whatever. her social media is full of nonsense, don't expect anything big and profound from such a youngster like her.

favorite way to cool down in the summer?: some might go with swimming, some might go with popsicles, but all mari does is cover herself in cold icepacks that she keeps in her refrigerator. she'll stick them onto her with some duct tape and everyone might stare at mari like she's some sort of strange monster, but she actually finds it pretty normal. it all started when she saw her brother fall ill and her mother put an ice pack on his forehead because he was feeling pretty hot. so mari got inspired.

favorite season?: you're guessing summer, right? nope, it's fall! mari thinks fall has the perfect weather, not extremely cold but cold enough to put on her favorite sweaters. actually, she steals them from markus, her friend, who gets annoyed by her not wearing her own sweaters. leaves fall from the trees, and mari can make large piles of leaves, some reaching up to six feet in height, then she throws herself into the pile with her friends. after all the fun, mari and her friends would go get some coffee at the local coffeeshop.

Mari bounded up the stairs, her sandals clacking on the cement. The beach was just below, and mari decided to go out on the street and probably snap some pictures from up here.
Markus followed up the steps, muttering something. "Alright, I'm here, now what?" he said grumpily. "Picture time? Oh come on, you do this every time we go out to do something!"
Mari shushed him. "Hey, I don't care! At least we're at the beach and not sitting outside in our backyard melting our heads off." She adjusted her tank top, which read 'CAT-ASTROPHE', and made sure her red cap was put on firmly on her head. She put on some sunglasses, grinned, and snapped a picture.
"Neat!" she said with a smile, but then suddenly frowned when Markus was in the background, scowling. "I'll post it anyway," Mari said, catching up with Markus. The older kalon just sighed and went back down the steps towards the beach, his feet hitting the sandy floor.

normal summer outfit

basically what she'll wear for the summer. the tank top she had gotten as a birthday present from her buddy markus a year ago, since she's oh so cat-astrophic, and the red cap because she likes wearing hats...most of the time. shorts and sandals complete the look, and her rad sunglasses as well.

what she does during the summer:

-eat ice cream
-binge watch tv shows
-go to the beach to hang out
-hang out at talith's juice bar w/ marco
-make a bunch of videos (since she's just so bored)
-blast music from her speakers and dance along to it
-climb on the roof at night to look at the stars
-watching movies until 3 am
-eat a bunch of popsicles
-chase the ice cream truck
-ride bikes

winter/fall outfit

mostly sweaters. scratch that, always sweaters. and then you see the occasional long sleeved shirt underneath. winters where mari lives are mild, so there's no need for big coats and such. just normal sweaters. she just loves fall, but not winter since everything is cold and nippy and sharp. but fall? there's always the need for big fun and sweaters and leaves and all things good make fall the best season there is.

what she does during winter/fall

-gather leaves and jump into them
-drink hot chocolate
-leave small presents for everyone (no pranks this time)
-go to the park
-build blanket forts and pillow forts
-sleep, or should i say hibernate?
-hide and seek...in her house...in the dark with few lighting (halloween, duh)
