Personality ;; With Wasabi isn't the most outgoing, he isn't exactly quiet either. He's never harbored any issues with being too confident or too afraid, he's a lukewarm mix of his sassy brother Sphere and his quiet sister Venesa. He's a night owl at heart, unintentionally staying up late into the night. Wasabi likes the night life, which is quite a bit more calm and relaxed than day to day hustle-n-bustle. He feels like the night just sets his mind more at ease. Wasabi has an affinity for space, specifically the planets, and absolutely loves learning about them. He's pretty calm in temperament, and handles situations very well when it comes to a breaking point of stress. Wasabi is particularly level-headed, and it's incredibly difficult to cause him visible anger or annoyance. His relaxed nature comes from years of dealing with Sphere messing with him, so he developed quite a thick skin to the teasings of others. Wasabi is unlike the rest of the gang in that he doesn't have much interest in books, though he'll read about planets or the stars, it's not often he'll read out of his own choice. Wasabi is a quirky kid with a lot of imagination. He has a cardboard box decorated to be his spaceship as well as tons of things scattered on the floor to protect him from the 'astral void'. It's basically one big excuse to run around on any place but his carpet. Wasabi is a bit untrusting of those not in his immediate family, often skeptical and analytical of what others say. He's a cool kid and a leader, though he never really attempted to be, his relaxed nature and open mind allow him a lot of freedom and success when making friends. He's the kind of kid who organizes games during recess for all the kids to play together. Wasabi wants to learn more about the world around him, though he's always figured the way to do it would be with his own two claws, rather than in the pages of a book. He wants to know what it is to experience something himself, though sometimes late into the debt of night he'll wiggle a book out of its hiding place to read a pinch before bed. He's convinced that if his family is so avid about it, perhaps there's something to it after all? He hopes to be able to see what they do, though it still eludes him.

Wasabi seriously looks up to his dad. Geno was always the family hero in Wasabi's books, and his position as a night guard museum made him seem like the coolest dad ever. Wasabi is convinced that things in the museum move about at night like he's seen in all the movies, and that his dad is a grand hero who has to save the day and keep things in order despite the chaos. Whenever he's in trouble he can count on Geno to help him out, and he always feels safe with his big, heroic dad around. He'll follow his dad around sometimes, asking if one day he can come to the museum at night with Geno to help him on his epic mission. Wasabi does try to give his dad some space so he isn't too overbearing, but he does bring up the idea every so often. He finds Geno to be fascinating and views his dad as the single greatest hero he knows.

Wasabi appreciates all Serenity does for him, and of course dearly loves his mother. She insists he should read more and give it a chance, though Wasabi will find ways to re-route the conversation or try to dodge the subject. He'll say he doesn't like books, though sneak away to read in his room late at night sometimes because his mother told him to. Wasabi doesn't like accepting gifts, even at a younger age, and will often tell people not to spoil or pamper him. The only way, Serenity has learned, to give him presets is if he isn't expecting it, or you don't warn him. Wasabi has some issues with personal space, which is to say he doesn't really like people touching or near him, but he'll curl up with his mother when he really needs some affection after a long day.

Sphere used to rub Wasabi the wrong way a lot. If the teasing was joking, Wasabi didn't know that; and it really hurt his feelings to hear one of his siblings being so mean to him. Once Wasabi learned to tolerate the sarcastic and sassy sense of humor, he began to appreciate Sphere's style of joking around. He's still a little annoyed by the teasing, but he doesn't take it so insultingly anymore. He's convinced Sphere has a black hole of some kind in his stomach to explain the amount of food his older brother can consume at one time. Wasabi puts up with Sphere, but he doesn't really like the idea of being alone with him for too long. He can chatter with his brother for a little while, but after a bit the conversation dries up and Wasabi feels the need to escape. Overall Wasabi prefers to keep things a bit more distant with Sphere.

He admires his older sister for her success in college, knowing one day he'll need to do the same thing. He'll often prompt her for stories about her experiences, how certain things worked and what happens in so-and-such place. Wasabi will ask her for summaries of books she's read, and when she tells him to read them himself, he'll simply insist upon the matter until she does give him a brief overview. Wasabi finds the stories she tells fascinating, whether they're about college or novels. Wasabi and Venesa will often sit around and watch musicals when they're both at home. They have a much closer sibling bond, so Wasabi feels a lot more comfortable talking with Venesa. They'll often relax and talk about the world, their dreams and the things around them.

Wasabi thinks his adopted sister Katrina is cool, personally. He'll try and help her play matchmaker sometimes, playing along with the joke of the ship wall. He likes talking to her, but being a vaiki of few words himself it often ends up being Katrina rambling about her pairings, and Wasabi listening and nodding along. He appreciates having someone to listen to and honestly finds Katrina's ship-ramblings to be pretty hilarious. He finds her abundance of energy a bit hard to keep up with, but regardless he'll still attempt to play games with her and all the normal things kids do. Their favorite game to play together is 'Cupid', a game in which they both have a plastic toy bow and suction cup arrows. Each arrow will have a number on it, and they'll shoot these suckers at people on the playground. Pairing the numbers (matching a 1 and a 1 for example) dictates that Cupid has deemed for them to fall in love!

"Troll's a fantastic friend and an active rp'r. I can't mention how many times I've laughed during our rps, cried, and had the best moments possible while chit chatting and discussing things. She's one of my closest friends, and I often go to her for ranting or venting and she offers what support she can- which is something I've never asked of her. It started off as a simple friendship over our two dorks who weren't even a ship for the first few months, and I have to say that it really became something much more meaningful than that. She's always got the best plotlines and ideas and her characters kick some serious butt. They're alive. Rp'ing with her is never bland, chatting with her is far from boring, and I don't regret shooting her that pm for a nerd rp between our two plumes."
