What is their favorite mythology? Why?;; Violet has always been fascinated by pegasi. She would love to be able to fly, so she suits more towards these winged horses than any other mythological creature.

What is their favorite mythology? Why?;; arachne the weaver
the story goes as follows:
Arachne was a mortal. She was a very skilled weaver, boasting that she was even better than
the goddess Athena. Athena was very angry, since nobody can beat a god. She came to Arachne as
an old lady and said, "You can never compare to any of the gods. Plead for forgiveness and Athena
might spare you."
Arachne just said, "Hah, I only speak the truth. Athena can come down and challenge me herself.
Athena removed her disguise and appeared in all her sparkling glory. The two began weaving away.
Athena's weaving featured four separate contests between mortals and gods, in which the gods punished
the mortals. Arachne's weaving featured how gods had mislead and abused mortals.
Athena was angry. Not only had she insulted the gods, she had also created a better weaving than herself.
She ripped Arachne's weaving into shreds and turned her into a spider and cursing her descendants to weave
for all of time. This is how the spider came to be.

Pandora loves this myth because it shows how powerful the Greek gods are, and how mortals
shouldn't mess with gods. She has memorized this myth from start to finish, and many more.
Pandora is not exactly obsessed with Greek myths (ok maybe she is), but she
is very good at memorizing things and can tell you anything about ancient Greece or maybe
even more Greek myths.

Pandora also loves spiders. They're creepy, they're crawly, but she doesn't think they're all that bad.
Especially tarantulas. She loves those. When she read this Greek myth as a youngster, when she was
obsessed with spiders, she instantly loved it. She liked how spiders came from someone who was
real (okay, it was a myth, but she was young then), how in Greece you had to respect
the Greek gods ( or else you'd get turned into a spider), and she also liked the goddess
Athena for being the goddess of wisdom and crafts.

For Pandora, crafts were her specialty. As a youngster, she believed she was a child of Athena for being
so skilled with papercutting and watercolor paints, and kept a spider as a pet for three days, convinced
that it was Arachne, the spider.

another myth she likes

Pandora also loves the myth about Narcissus. About the person who was so beautiful but turned down everyone. How Aphrodite cursed him to fall in love with his reflection, never to move, never to eat. Narcissus died, but he was turned into a flower. A beautiful flower, which we now know as a daffodil.

Pandora has loved this myth as well, hence her flower crown. She grew her own garden of flowers, growing this special type of flower called the moonflower. She had all colors of the moonflower, but purple was the one she loved the most. She stitched them together and wore them ever since, because of the Narcissus myth.

She is just amazed by Egyptian mythology from the gods to the stories. Her almost obsession started when she was young, she had just got her first mythology book. The moment she opened the first page she was hooked. But after reading the whole book only one mythology stuck out, Egyptian mythology. She began reading everything she could find about it. She felt like reading and studying it could be her little get away from the real world so that's really why she likes it.

Why?;; Norse Mythology, She loves all the different species and the gods, Though that could be a reason for liking any kind of Mythology.Really, she has always had a bit of a crush on the god Loke... Dun dun dun! She feels like he is merely misunderstood and actually pranks people a lot, looking up to him as being her role model as well as her crush..

What is their favorite mythology? Why?;;Knightly loves everything that has to do with all kinda of mythology, her favorite being Greek like most others. It's very hard for her to just choose one creature from this mythology, but her all time favorite would have to be the Chimera myth. The reason she loves this myth so much is because she thinks the concept of a creature being made up of different animals is very interesting, and in a weird way cute. Yes she does find the vicious creature quiet adorable all the way through. In fact she loved it so much as a young child she got her mother to make her a Chimera plushie, and she still has it to this day.
