abaout the name: The name is Arabic for 'dragonfly'. I selected this name due to the fact that I can see this mare being a fierce fighter, territorial and strong. I can also see her being a fast runner with high agility, easily able to take hairpin turns and make a quick getaway when necessary. All of these abilities tie into the dragonfly, a carnivorous insect with amazing speed and fighting ability.

There are even two 'd's in her name, which she cannot even begin to explain how much that pleases her.

abaout the name: Areum (Ah-Reum) is a Korean given name that means "beauty". While I was looking for the a name for this girl I stumbled upon this name and thought it was perfect. I know some people actually dislike the looks of chimera horses, I'm not one of them though I am rather picky when it comes to chims and their coloring, and so I instantly connected with this name for this mare. It takes a lot to make me fall in love with a chim, and when I do it's something special to me and always has to have the best name filled with some kind of meaning, even ones that only I know and usually refuse to share for personal reasons. cx Going more into what Areum thinks of her name though;; Areum loves her name for the fact that even her name looks beautiful to her. She sees the beauty in everyone and everything except for herself. Yes she's always bragging about her looks, but some days she actually questions how she looks. But when the mare thinks of her name, she's reminded that she is beautiful and she shouldn't think otherwise.

I chose to name this horse Raindrops on Roses because she has a rose-ish colored coat with dots on her rump which make me think of Raindrops. I just find it an extremely fitting name and love it. about the name: For this mare, I choose the name Tallulah. Tallulah, as a name, has double meaning which I found fit her chimeric coat well! In Irish, Tallulah means abundant woman. I see this mare being abundantly feminine and with have two sires she will have an abundance of her persona to go around! Tullulah also means leaping waters in Choctaw. Tallulah has always thought her palomino leopard spots look like golden water leaped onto her white coat. She now tells a story of how she got two different coats. Story goes that Tallulah was naturally an amber champagne paint, but one day she ran through golden water and the water leaped onto her white paint markings making her an amber champagne/palomino leopard chimera.
