Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a unique breed of pythons that have paint seeping from their tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly smaller than their close cousins, ball pythons, females being around 2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long. Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent, and PTP are no exception. PTP tend to be quite shy when first introduced to their owners, but will warm up quickly and soon become inseparable. PTP have exceptionally long lifespans, and have been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

How Many PTPs Do You Own?: I only currently own one, and that's Luce <3
Describe Your Dream PTP: I actually have two dream PTP's...
The first dream PTP would be a mix between Luce and Alice. The snek would be black with grey-white monochrome striping like Alice's rainbow stripes. Its paint would be off-white with black and grey specks, and pale blue eyes. Like Luce, he'd have horns, but they'd curl like a ram. It's underbelly would be a dark grey (bluish-dark grey) with white specks scattered about. His tounge would be a blue-grey color.
The second PTP would be based off of the jaguar carpet snake... She'd be the odd one out of all my monochromes due to her bright golden-brown/yellow colors and black jaguar markings. Her paint would be a off-black with a pale underbelly. It's tongue would be the same color as her under-belly and her eyes would be a light green.
What Accessories Would You Put On This PTP?:
For the first dream PTP, his horns wouldn't really count as accessories, but if they do, then his ram horns. Also, the snek would have a simple small chain around his neck, that was on him since birth, and it grew as he grew.
For the other one, she'd have the same chain, but of gold instead. Also, she'd have a small jaguar plush that would always be near her side.
Whats Your Favorite Thing About PTPs In General?: My favorite thing about the PTPs... That's a hard one. I love them in general, and the variety and uniqueness of each one. I love how no two are alike and how they have the paint. I love the way their positioned, and their faces. omg.. Their faces are just adorable.. And they look really soft <3

Describe Your Dream PTP: Technically, I already have him - a white snake with wings (aheh), but if I were to choose another, I'm super fond of grungy browns with splashes of color - so something like gunmetal and ivory piebald with hints of, say, sky blue or olive-peridot green (not just in the paint, in the scales, too) would be absolutely drop-dead gorgeous to me. <3 I also like it when the head stands out - like if the head is darker colored, or if the piebald splashes over it. Something that leans a little more toward natural colors (with unnatural hints) really seems to get me more, in general. xD
What Accessories Would You Put On This PTP?: For this one, I'm thinking a little floral cape - baby rosebuds trimmed in baby's breath, and fastened with a little gold ribbon. An actual silver crown, like the ones royalty wears, decorated not in stones but in tiny buds and florets, to sit on her head, might also be a good piece for her. But, most especially, I think a simple thin band of silver, with one side of the ring open and the other with a spring adjustment, around her neck, would be perfect. <3
Whats Your Favorite Thing About PTPs In General?: I love the variety in the species - everything from the colors to the lineart is so beautifully variable, and then they are such versatile characters that they're so much fun to work with. They also give me the chance to practice my snakes, which I so rarely am able to with established characters. ^^;

Describe Your Dream PTP: I absolutely love piebald snakes and my dream PTP would have to be a piebald one.
What Accessories Would You Put On This PTP?: I would add a charm bracelet on her tail with a painter's pallet and a small paintbrush.
Whats Your Favorite Thing About PTPs In General?: they are snakes....and painter's....and I love paint and snakes and since I cannot have a snake in real life (4 month old son, I refuse to get a snake for fear of it getting out of its enclosure. Heard bad stories) I really would love to have a PTP.

Whats Your Favorite Thing About PTPs In General?: oh, the diversity of course. so many different designs. i love the creativity of the artists. that, by far, is my favorite thing about this species. but, I also like that they are snakes, and I really like snakes, so anything that involves snakes, I am in love with.

Describe Your Dream PTP: I honestly just love them all. <3 I am awful at choosing favorites, no matter how much I love snakes. There are just to many! I mean, maybe an emerald python ptp with super cool scales. I do love emerald pythons. Or a northern rough green snake. I know they are simple, but that green color looks so good on snakes!!! But over all I think it would just be a really cool Ptp with awesome accesories, or amazing line edits (like they always are!). Probably blues and greens, or pale beige. I don't really prefer any specific snake patterns of types, I just like them all.

What Accessories Would You Put On This PTP?: Horns, big grey wings and a beautiful tiara to match her shy, sharp, but beautiful personality. The wings would be almost like her baby blanket, where she hid behind from the cruel harsh world outside. The horns would warn others that she isn't one to mess with. Though she will avoid you, if you come and stick your nose in her buisness she will put up a fight. The tiara to show her inner princess. Zaria is respectful and calm, and shows the same respect to every creature of every size. She is elegant and kind, gracious and cautious. Behind the walls she's built and the wings she hides behind, Zaria is very much a princess.

Whats Your Favorite Thing About PTPs In General?: Ptps the adoption center? Or the actual snakes? Because the comunity in its self is one thing. Everyone is patiant and kind, and I'm so happy to be a supporter. The staff is so nice and understanding. The snakes on the other hand are so amazing. I love the amazing accessories. What I love most about the snakes are that they aren't all based off of real snakes, and they are unique. I like this because you never know what colors you will get. I love how they have so many different lines, you you'll never know what you get. The incredible detail in each and ever snake makes me realize how much effort the artists put it, which I think is fantastic. It's incredible, the whole thing really.

Describe Your Dream PTP:
My ultimate dream PTP would have a colour palette of white, grey, very dark grey/black and red. The main colour would be white, with small grey and dark grey/black markings. Maybe the normal Python marking in a light grey. One of these markings would be around its eyes, and give it a kind of spooky look. To the end of the tail it would also fade from white to grey and then dark grey/black. The coulour of eyes and paint would be red. Maybe it would also have dark grey/black horns, but I would also love it without them.
What Accessories Would You Put On This PTP?:
I would only put a neclace on this PTP. A leather string with a nightingales feather and slightly glowing Aventurine on it.
Whats Your Favorite Thing About PTPs In General?:
The fact that they are close to ball pythons. My best friend always wanted to own a ball python once, and she showed lots of different colour variations to me. We also went to look at some from breeders. There I saw this beautiful coral glow ball python. Thats when I first fell for the PTPs. I wanted to get myself a snake character. That they have paint seeping from their tail tips makes them even more adoreable.

I see her as.....
a Indian Spectacled Cobra (Naja naja)
it would only have the line edit of the cobra edits- just those 'flappy' things near its head
but other than that you would think she is really nasty, and a jerk, and dangerous, but she is really shy, hushed, and hides most the time.

What Accessories Would You Put On This PTP?:
she wouldn't really have accessories, but she would have the line edits, but she LOVES making necklaces of all sorts
