What are Wilx?
The Wilx (singular: Wilx) are a vaguely canid species found high up in mountainous areas in the wild. As a result, they have evolved to have several physical adaptations for their climates, including thick fur, large lungs, long flexible bodies and tails, heightened senses and their most noticeable feature, their humanoid front paws for better climbing. Wilx have awful vision though, and depend on the thick patches of whisker-like fur on their cheeks to judge distance. Domesticated Wilx come in a great variety of colors and sizes, and are popular for companionship, hunting, home protection due to their heightened physical senses and strong tendency to bond with their human owners. Wilx are about as intelligent as a well trained border collie, and respond very well to human commands.
Wilx are scavengers, and will eat just about everything that they can get their paws on! Wilx owners should watch out for clams, rhubarb and some apple species, which seem to be very common allergens with Wilx.

The rarity of a Wilx is mainly determined by their pupil shape and genetic traits. Common pupils are round, uncommon cat's eyes and rare are horizontal. A round pupiled wilx may be uncommon based on the severity of their line edits and how common those edits may be.

Personality ::
Some may see him as a frightful being, within good reason. Besides his obvious ghoulish looks, Gallow has a rather frightful disposition as well, most of his attributes stemming from the hatred he has of the assumptions others make about him. Ever since he'd decided to show his garish face to the world, he'd been criticized over his ghastly appearance, gaining a reputation for being the year-round ghoul among his peers. This leads to his overall bitter behavior, which did nothing more then to add to his frightening outlook.

When he ventures from his dwellings he wears a calm, regular scowl, every whisper and gasp that reaches his ears appearing to go unnoticed by the unique Wilx as he carries on with his own life. Sure, he has his share of odd habits and seems to dislike everyone, but every estranged word he hears seems to slowly add to his scowl. The only day he feels he can relax is Halloween, naturally, when every being in the area partakes in spooky costumes and goes on the hunt for sweets. Enjoying candies and other such delicacies himself, Gallow often participates as well, with plenty of compliments to his impressive appearance, which eventually leave him with a small smile. He still blames the rare occurrence on the absurd amount of candy he ingests, rather than the feeling of finally being accepted.

Even when comfortable with his surroundings, Gallow is a rather reserved and quiet fellow, preferring calm, indoor activities such as reading or knitting during his free time, which he has much of, being as short on companions and other familiar Wilx as he is.

Miaplacidus was born male at birth,
but find that he doesn't really connect to the gender its self.
He tends to think that he is more of a neutral gender but
doesn't relate to agender either. In all reality he doesn't seem
to really like to identify in some sort of gender. Though often
goes by He or him pronouns to make it easier on everyone in general.

There are many layers to Miaplacidus and because of this many may see only one side all depending on first impressions and how he has been treated. Your may get the cold and stand offish guy in which he stays mostly quite and tends to be very stubborn or a very knowledgeable and elegant wilx with a lot of insite and willing to help those the seek his advise.

Though at times when Miaplacidus is lost in his own thoughts or in a good book in which has enlighten him on a particular subject he tends to be rather forgetful when a request is made to him at this time. He also likes to get what he wants and when he wants it, even if he has to be a little cunning of sly about it. Though he doesn't like this side of him, he uses this trait to often for comfort and will put him self in check and question his motives before going though with it.

Miaplacidus being the complex wilx that he is, tends to have many pleasures in life and likes to take on many different hobbies. Though this allows him to take more joy in life and connect easily to a wide variety of other wilx, he often likes to be on his own when doing his research and practicing new skills. Though he has not mastered any one particular subject he is know as a jake of many trades and tends to be able to do a bit of it all then just one thing.
