You have the choice of three backgrounds, the one shown with optional filters, the prairie, and the meadow. These are the only ones you are allowed to use for the sake of the character. You will be creating a horse/equine-like character design.
The theme for this design is FIRE. Anything not related to fire doesn't really have a shot at winning. Now I don't expect to see flaming eyes or tails, but I'm expecting to see designs that are easily replicated for artwork and photo manipulations. Don't let this limit your imagination though, because a complicated design could still win! Just make sure that Fire is the theme of your design. Now I want to let you all know of our most important rule, and that is The rules can be changed at any time, and entering the contest means you understand this. This is mostly for the sake of after the contest, when designers/artists have the chance to claim their designs if it didn't win. Designs that don't win will be raffled off if they go unclaimed. Now for the rest of the rules:

-after the contest you have one week to claim your designs, so claim them if you want them
-this contest will go on until we reach at least 10 entries
-those who advertise this contest with this button will be entered in a raffle for another prize.
