On a hot summer day, this tolter loves to...: This Tolter enjoys the heat! He loves trotting around and showing off his sweaty muscles to mares. The mares sometimes like it, but most of the time they're huddling under shady trees or inside the stable. Even Smaug sometimes hangs out in the shade, and this is when it's over 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Smaug even steals icecream from passing children! He usually leaves the cone, though, so the child will have something left!

When it gets hot, Chaos will usually join his mate Night in the shade. Due to the fact Night is black, he cannot be in the heat because he can overheat easily and it isn't good for him as he gets sunburn on his nose too. They will usually stand together in the shade with Chaos' head over Night's neck shading him from any remaining heat. He knows Night would enjoy going out in the warmth but he cannot take how hot his coat gets and because Chaos doesn't want to leave him, he shares some of his pain and stand sin the shade and protects him from the heat. If the night is humid then Chaos will take Night out for a walk in the fields enjoying the warmth without a vicious sun beating down on the poor black stallion. They share each others pain and will always put the others needs before their own. If Night needs a drink Chaos will literally gallop to get one for his beloved mate.

Stay in the shade. Caedus is not one for hot days, or sunlight in general; he prefers to stay hidden in the shadows, and often only comes out to eat or drink at night.

Run. Obviously not something most would do, but he doesn't seem to mind the fiery heat of the sun enough to not be off clearing ground and throwing up dirt and grass, distrusting as much peace as possible with snorts and trumpets of his arrival into his paddock. Maybe the occasional escape out of the fencing to just keep everybody on their toes, as well. After all, summer is for fun.
