_____Apple Appreciation Day is an event held in the city of Garland Grove to celebrate apples! Garland Grove is an interesting city built in the middle of an expansive apple orchard. The city buildings are actually tree houses built into the trees. Every year, in July, the city celebrates Apple Appreciation Day. Garlands are made from the leaves and flowers of the apple trees and placed everywhere. Bobbing for apples, apple tosses, and other apple-related games are played to win prizes. Apple-related treats are also prevalent during the celebration.

_____Although the event is called Apple Appreciation Day, we're actually going to celebrate for a week! There are three games (seen below) that you can participate in to win prizes, and a Raffle Stuffalynn that you have a chance of winning! Make sure to read the event rules. If you break the rules repeatedly and get three warnings, you will be banned from participating in the rest of the event.

Stand next to the barrel, put your hands behind your back,
and try to grab an apple with nothing but your teeth!







Grab a bean bag, stand with your toes on the line,
and try to toss your bean bag through the apple cut out!







Take a dart, stand with your toes on the line,
and try to pop a balloon by throwing the dart at the bunch!





Prizes that can be won in the games include:

- various amounts of Buttons

- any items or accessories from the Marketplace

- any items from the Exploration Booth


Raffle Ticket - a ticket that allows you to put your name in a second time for the Raffle Stuffalynn
Note: Can be exchanged for 100 Buttons if not used.


White Apple Blossom Garland - a garland made of white apple blossoms
Note: Accessory that is put onto a Stuffalynn (worn around the shoulders)


Pink Apple Blossom Garland - a garland made of pink apple blossoms
Note: Accessory that is put onto a Stuffalynn (worn around the shoulders)


Honeycrisp Apple Pie - a delicious pie created by a talented baker in Garland Grove
Note: When used in a Breeding, it ensures a batch of six babies.
