What Is An Orthus Serverus?
A canine species created by demons, popularized by humans.
A loyal yet suborn breed, the Serverus was specifically bred to guard and serve, even if it cost them their lives.
First created by demons, the Orthus Severus is a well built but agile dog that uses more skill than power in combat. But that is not to say that the Serverus is a breed that enjoys to fight, in-fact they don't, they just need to protect.
Orthus Serverus stand at around 90cm tall and weigh in at about 160 pounds. They are tall and slim with most of the muscle around the chest area and legs. They have a long muzzle, large erect ears and sharp pretending canine teeth.
This canine is not a breed that is looking for companionship, they want a master who will tell them what to do and put them in their place, but also some-one who will let them guard.

Like many other female dogs, Matrix has a very long stubborn
streak and is definitely not a dog you'd want to butt heads with.
Given her heritage and breed mixed with a natural motherly instinct,
this Serverus is fiercely protective and would give her life in turn
to save another's. Beneath the fierce, intimidating exterior of this
gorgeous canine is a fiery passion and a heart of gold. It may not
appear to be so most times, but Matrix can become quite sensitive
to things that bring back her past, something she never wants to
relive or think about again. Matrix is a Serverus of many talents,
one of those being the ability to read others well. She has an
uncanny tendancy to be able to tell when others are lying, and
even though she may not point it out directly she won't ever forget.
Memory is another thing that she received from birth as a gift. She
has an almost photographic memory as well as a astounding long-term
one as well.
History Sample ;;
The cold concrete beneath her paws and backside seemed to ground
the sleek dog to reality, to the battle below where only one dog would
come out victorious. The femme felt a large, calloused hand smooth
over the short, fine hairs on her head, instinctively tilting her head
upwards towards the welcomed pressure that her master's hand gave
off. Matrix was a Diablo. A cherished one at that. Diablo's were the top
dogs in the dog fighting world, the most feared. She had been the only
dog who had been a stray and a mutt before being taken in as a Diablo.
The Serverus's bright crystalline eyes had a certain hardness to them,
the kind that would make any approaching dog falter in their steps and debate
whether they really want to walk in her direction. Her pointed ears were
poised atop her cranium, standing tall and stiff, while her stubbed tail was
laid flat on the ground a few inches away from the curve where her back
met her backside. "That's another one down" a voice piped up and Matrix's
ears flicked back in it's direction while she remained motionless, yet her
eyes skeptically grazed over the dog fight. "Well that's bound to happen
when you put an inexperienced dog like that up against a Champion. Now
I gotta' go get Trix ready for her fight. If these people are here for a show,
that battle with the Champion will be nothing compared to a fight with a
Diablo like her" her master's voice was deep, laced with his thick Mexican
accent. On cue, the tall female rose to her paws, stretching out her back
as the fight below ended, the opposing dog laying motionless on the ground.
That would never be her. Never again. She had made that vow and planned
to stick to it.
