Alex is a calm and collected boy that tries to understand a problem or situation before he jumps to conclusions or starts a fight. He's more easily frightened by large groups or fights than most other horses. It would seem to make him an easy target to be bullied and pushed around, but it's quite the opposite with his ability to stand up tall and proud, not allowing him to be beaten down into the ground with words or violence. Alex has the nature of being very kind and will always speak gently to others. He's got a knack for finding others with issues such as a disability, illness, or just in a bad mood and spending hours upon hours with them getting into long, deep conversations or even just sitting with them to help them get through their tough times. Enemies is something his personality doesn't seem to draw up for him as he's just a likable tolter that can put up a fight and make the ones that want to hate him realize there's not much to hate if anything. If he ends up accumulate an enemy or two Alex just shrugs them off like they don;t exist, unless they're quite obnoxious where he'll try to out obnoxious them.
