She always told the other horses to not ruin her joke, so she came up with 'Don't Roan my Joke' which eventually became her show name. In her mind, she knows it's bad but it's funny, because she's the color purple roan.. but to the other horses it's funny that she can't make a good joke. Even though she tries so hard to make jokes, she simply cannot come up with a good joke that isn't so horrible and cheesy it's funny.
