It is actually really addictive and side effects include stallion infertility,aimless wandering, excessive salivation, etc. and fun fact , the plant is named locoweed because of what it does to horses u w u other sources:12

Basically, instead of guide dogs, blind people in some parts of the UK have started to use guide ponies - tiny shetties trained like guide dogs. Isn't that cool? And they're actually superior to guide dogs in some ways because they have longer lifespans and better endurance.
(There aren't a lot of them around though ^^)
