I made the edits for this plume ages ago -- was thinking about how customs tend to get all the nice edits and wanted to make something rarer for you all too! Just got the muse to design it today, so here we go~ My first plumie of the new year! I hope you all like them <:

Please read all of this before PMing me questions

For the contest, you have to impress me! But there's a catch: maximum of 350 words! The rest must all be art. I really want to see interesting, expressive art that helps show their personality rather than you just flatout telling me!
Words written in art, quotes, titles/headers, text in links, etc, all counts.

However, coding (ie: [center]) doesn't, and neither do the links themselves (for example,

BUT words that are solely used to credit artists don't count towards your word count!! (eg; "by tiny-fire") I really want you to credit artists of any pieces included in your form!

You may NOT go over 350 for any reason, cause that's not fair! Even if you're just a few words over -- make sure not to ramble!

- Their markings don't actually glow!

★★ A group of plumerian sat around a cake singing to a girl, Miranda, who was sitting in the middle of them, a wide grin on her face. "Happy birthday, to youuu," they finished the song, and cut the cake, digging in. After several moments of eating in a comfortable silence, one of them, Aksel, stood up.
"Presents!" he yelled out.

★★ Miranda's friends all nodded enthusiastically, knowing how much Miranda would love her gift.
Akemi stood up, rushing into a separate room to get her bag that contained the present. Upon seeing that it was only one thing, Miranda frowned slightly, but did not speak up.
"Well," Akemi, who had put the most work into thinking up this present, said, "Open it!" The others chimed in their agreement, and Miranda grabbed it, a bit too eagerly.

★★ Without bothering to save the wrapping paper, she tore it off until it was no more. When she saw what was inside, her eyes widened, and she smiled hugely, looking up at her friends.
"You guys," she choked out, before picking up the gift to get a better look at it.
A camera, one she could recall pointing out to them at a store, had been given to her. However, one thing threw Miranda off: The camera wasn't in the original packaging. She hit a button, to go through the pictures that been taken, and what she saw made her tear up. Her friends, Yotuba, Akemi, Aksel all posed for a picture, holding a sign that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRANDA!"
And thus, Miranda the photographer was born.

Miranda has kept a scrapbook of all of the memories she's had with her friends, after getting her camera

You walk into a cafe, the sweet aroma of the many varieties of good they have surrounding you. "One table please, for one." You say, and are led by a shorter plumerian with a rather nervous look on her face. "H-hi, I'm n-Natalie" she whispered, not daring to make eye contact. You immediately notice she's shaking a little bit, why did she seem so scared? A brown collar with a circular pendant hands from her neck, and her nametag said Natalie. You place your order in, and once you finish eating you simply leave. Later that day your phone buzzes. "Hey, wanna go to the nightclub tonight? There's this amazing new Dj, it'll be fun!" Says the text you got from your friend. Reluctantly, you give in. What's the harm?



You and a big group of friends make your way down to the biggest nightclub around. The first thing you see is the Dj in the corner, grinning madly. She has headphones that matched her collar, with sunglasses covering her eyes, a nose piercing and a chain bracelet on her left arm. You immediately recognize that collar, the hair, everything about the Dj was so familiar. You remember the nervous waitress, and this couldn't be real. You quickly run up to her, you had to know. Your friends tried to stop you but you pushed past them. "Excuse me m'aam, may I ask you a question?" You start off. She simply looks at you for a moment, and shrugs. "Why not? What'dya want to know?" She said with a confident grin. Even the voice was the same. " I think I know you from somewhere..." You started, but she already interrupted. "Everyone knows me babe! I'm best friends with Sugar, the famous actress, I was in a band for about 3 years- they broke up when I was 18." She stated. This couldn't possibly be the same plumerian.
