Yay the event has started! Happy Holidays all!! I didn't know what to do about the wrapping paper >.> and the bow is made out of tape I think LOL I'm not really sure what mess happened here <3 But it's cute!

Unwrappable equids were created 2 years ago around Christmas time. You get told the base colour at the beginning and this year there is a little twist to our traditional celebration. I can't tell you what it is yet, but keep your eye out and something might happen XD The winner will be announced between Christmas day and January 10th; this is also when the equid will be completely unwrapped!

Good Holiday Memory: Blitz's favorite memory is when he was a yearling. His human, a little boy age 8, got him his very own pair of reindeer antlers and harness to wear. The boys mother got him a sleigh so he and the boy would spend hours gliding through the snow all through the countryside. Since the boy named him after a reindeer, he was so excited to be a part of Santas team!
Bad Holiday Memory: Several years later, Blitz and the boy entered into a sleigh race. During the race Blitz slipped on black ice and sent his boy flying and he ended up breaking his arm. The rest of winter he was shut in his barn alone while the boy recovered.

Good Holiday Memory: Echo's favorite holiday memory is when he was just a colt, and it was his first Christmas. He had woken up to find that it had snowed the night before. His soul soared at the sight, for he had never seen snow, but had heard of how fun it was. He stretched and got up from the soft hay he had slept on, walked out of the stable he and his family lived in, and gingerly placed a hoof in the white blanket that now covered his world. His hoof sank through the snow, cooling it, and he smiled as he bolted out into the snow covered field, letting out a whinny of delight, kicking up snow behind him.
Bad Holiday Memory: Echo's bad holiday is a pretty unpleasant one, because for his second Christmas, a friend of his dared him to lick an icicle. Echo, being the rowdy young stallion he was, told his friend it was a stupid, easy dare. He found the biggest icicle he could find, put his tongue up to the middle of it, and moved his head up. His head didn't move very far though, because his tongue was stuck right to the ice. Needless to say, Echo was stuck there for quite a while, waiting for the icicle to melt as his friend stood there and laughed.

Good Holiday Memory: As a young colt, he and his 7 brothers were raised in the family tradition of being "Santa's reindeer". He used to love this more than anything and was beyond proud of himself as they would prance around with a light-weight sleigh attached to their harnesses. Yes, this has much to do with his name and he is still proud and often caught boasting.
Bad Holiday Memory: A few years back he had decided to wonder off into the forest after venturing out of the pasture. He isn't anything near wild at heart, and he quickly became spooked by every little thing. He became lost, and once his masters awoke the next day to realize this, they went to find him. After he was brought home safe and sound, he knew then and there that he would behave himself.

Good Holiday Memory: He never really had any family or friends aside from his aunt, who passed away when he was only 3. Until one Christmas Eve, when he was 8 years old, he came across a shivering little filly hidden in a bush, only a couple months old. Her name was Arabella, and she'd gotten separated from her parents. He watched over her, got her warmed up, and then with her by his side they went and found her parents, and as thanks he was invited to spend Christmas with them, the first Christmas he'd get to spend with others in 5 years. Him and Arabella ended up growing very close over the years, Arabella became like a little sister to him and him a big brother to her, and he'll never forget that day he had found her lying there, as it was the best thing to ever happen to him.
Bad Holiday Memory: This memory is from just this year, he had planned to spend this year with Arabella, just as he has the past 6 years since he found her that one Christmas Eve's day. But Arabella had found a mate this year, and was instead going to spend it with him, and while neither Arabella or her mate had said they didn't want Cassander around and instead said he could still spend Christmas with them, he could tell they really wanted to spend it alone, and he didn't want to intrude. So he spent this Christmas alone, just as he had those years between his Aunt's death and finding Arabella, and spending it alone made all those memories of his lonely years come back, making for a long, lonely, depressing Christmas for him this year.

Good Holiday Memory: Ryden's favorite holiday past time is pulling sleds through the fields of snow. He especially loves the jingle bells that are attached to the harness and their lovely, tinkling sound.
Bad Holiday Memory: One year, the barn he lives at was hosting a large holiday gathering. A candle was knocked from a table and the barn was set ablaze. The entire structure was destroyed that night, and the equids had to live out in the pastures until it was rebuilt.
