Let the Lights Guide You

This certainly is a very interesting (and rare) finchling!
It seems to glow in certain places on its body, along with a glowing bell. Kind of like a lantern...

To win this finchling, impress me!
Though, there are some requirements~
1. Explain its life with the glow. (I.E. How does the finchling use the glowing?/how do others react?/is it treated differently for the glowing?/etc)
2. Do not write a novel! (Try to keep explanations short.)
3. Art limit of 10 pieces.

This little flinchling is often shy until he knows what the other intentions are, if they're bad then he'll avoid them since he's learnt that bad intentions can harm you greatly. However those with good intentions he becomes rather affectionate and will more than happily cuddle with them, be near them and just give off the most amazing warm glow.
It helps that he is still young otherwise he may have become cold and unkind long ago and light would have been a farce but thanks to his age and his tendencies to be naive sometimes he has a bright out look to life and those around him.

To him his glow is extremely important, it makes him who he is and for those that love it, making them happy makes him happy because no one else can glow like he can.
He does however love fireflies and other glowing insects, especially those that can fly and dance int the sky because he could watch them for hours. sometimes he'll even try to join in and spread his glow wherever he goes, leaving his own trail.

Lumos was born with the glow he has today and though it is not deadly in anyway, he has found uses for it as well as found out why it could be a burden too.
His glow though strange is a beacon to some, the light always warm and inviting that whenever Lumos sleeps in gardens and the out doors he'll often find himself with some type of critter cuddled up close once he wakes up. Even other flinchlings seem to be quite friendly when they get close to the warm glow. Though some are wary of it because no other Flinchling they have ever seen glows like that and to some it might seem dangerous.
This has caused Lumos to be wary of others but also gives him the courage to give others a chance to show what their personalities are actually like, He unfortunately is rather shy until he knows just how the other is reacting to his glow or what they plan on doing.

His actual glow does not go down completely unfortunately because when it does go dim it becomes a sign that his health is getting worse. A healthy glow means a healthy Lumos but weak glow means a weak Lumos. It's almost as if his bell contains his very life's essence. The most he can do is dull it down enough that he becomes less noticeable but it takes energy since its not meant to happen and because of this its used for emergencies where he has to hide from something but cant because of how bright his glow might be.

Other than an indicator for his health Lumos uses his glow for others that may be down or anyone that needs comfort, a nice warm light to comfort them as they rest and a friend to be close to.
In this sense Lumos is happiest with his glow when he can help someone break through the darkness that theyre lost in.

He doesn't get treated differently for his glow unless you call others looking at him funny.
No one ever bullies him for it because they think he could hurt them.
His glow appears to be intimidating to the community since he's the only Flinchling that can.
Rarely others find it cool or it's just the older Flinchlings hiding the younger ones so they cannot see it.

Jasper's glowing can mean many different things has a great role when in complete darkness.
He can use his glow to venture into the darkest places but if he's scared,
his light will go out completely like blowing out a candle.
It does this so no stalking creature can locate him because of his bright glow.
Though there is a disadvantage because he won't be able to see in the dark.
It will only glow again when he is confident or no longer scared.

When Jasper is happy or excited, his glow will become brighter.
Though it never reaches the point enough to blind others.
When he's angry, his glow will be very dimmed.

despised his bell,
he thought it made him look weird,
but then he embraced his bell.
So what if he was different,
finchlings would still love him.

History

Adrian was always a shy finchling, he rarely spoke up and was always afraid someone would judge him for his bell. He would try and hide it, pretending he was sick so he could stay home. Whenever he would go out in public, bullies would laugh and point at him, to the point where he cryed. As a result, he became isolated, never wanting to see another finchling again, until.. he found love. She was a mysterious finchling, pure white with a silver beak and bell. She never judged him for who he was, she was perfect. She certainly wasnt a normal finchling, she wasnt even alive, for of course, she was a ghost! When Adrian found out, it crushed him at first, but then he realized that maybe other finchlings would love him, just maybe he would fit in. He became more social and made friends. He was happy.
