Welcome

Welcome to this year's Halloween Event guys! This year, there won't be as many games or a real big need for currency, but it's still going to be a blast! Our main theme for this Halloween event is simple : Trick-or-treat!

This year, you'll all be participating in a fun trick-or-treat event hosted by the various artists and staff of Simas! Each day, you'll be able to "knock on each staff member's door". Sometimes you'll get a "trick" that gives you nothing at all while on other days you might receive a "treat" which could do virtually anything. Each Staff member will have a different variety to earn along with customs, slots, and premade simas! They can even give out currency for other things during the event! Currency won't be a big thing though - so you won't miss out on anything if you can't win any through the small amount of contests well have.

This event was designed to be FUN and rewarding for EVERYBODY, so as long as you participate you'll surely win something! Please remember to be respectful to the staff, even if you don't get what you wanted. This act of kindness and respect towards on another will surely make it possible to have more events in the future. As one of your co-owners, I hope you guys have a blast and I wish you a happy halloween <3

The candy you earn (a.k.a currency) will not be useless this year! It will be used as sort of a score this year, with the top three individuals earning three amazing prize bundles! They'll also be used for items that may be available through artists, but you'll mostly want them for this. Once the event has ended and the top three are announced, you are free to spend your candy on the items the artists will be selling!

Trick-or-treat door staff may not win the full packs ; they will receive part of the pack they earned. Another nondoorstaff user will take their place.

To win all you need to do one of two things! (Option 1 is Preferred)
1-PM a Game mod& the hider quoting the post where the pumpkin is hidden

2. post on this topic quoting the post that has the hidden pumpkin, *if you choose this option make sure you pm Gazoonia, Ember the wolf, or Darkstar to make sure it gets counted*

What happens if two people
find it at the same time?

Whoever post's first will be given 1st place prize, The second person
will get a treat as well but not as much as if they had posted first.

What if we can't find the pumpkin?

There will be some hard ones but they will always be in a sima related topic.
If one isn't found within 1 day a hint will be given (if there wasn't one before)
If it still isn't found 2-4 hours after it will be reveled and a new pumpkin will be hidden.

1- No fighting over who found it first, a game mod or artist will decide who gets 1st prize.
2- No fake finds, if you get caught doing this you can be banned and have all treats/prizes taken.
3- No begging for hints, if the Hider wants to give a hint they will do so when they announce that they have hidden their pumpkin.
4- If you win you must wait until 4-6 pumpkin have been found before participating again, (amount varies on time between finds)

1st place-10-15 pieces of candy OR 1 common item
2nd place 5-10 pieces of candy (varies on time between finds)

A Dark sima Walks up to you. He fixes his glowing green eyes on yours and speaks in a low voice "Hello, I am Lucius, Guardian of the Soul Charin." He flicks his tail showing you the strange jewel "Many souls have escaped and I need your help gathering then all up," he tells you. Will you accept his challenge? Or will you let some of the more adventurous simas take this one?

This game is all Luck of the Draw! Every three-four hours two rounds will be held to see who got how many souls. Each round will have Five simas.

1- You may only enter one round at a time and you may only enter one sima-multiple entries will be disqualified and banned for two days
2- You must wait until a certain amount of around have passed, if you are caught entering early your souls will be revoked. 1st place must wait three rounds, 2nd must wait 2 round, 3rd-5 place must wait 1 round
3- No bribing people to enter for you.
4- No fighting about results, All numbers will be picked by using random,org
5- Soul Count will go in the archives! So make sure to post it

What are souls for?

Souls are used to buy Halloween event Simas, each sima for sale will have a set price.
You need to collect all the things it requires to buy it before anyone else.

Are there other ways to get souls?

There are only two way's To get souls, Here and The Cauldron!
The Cauldron Randomly releases Souls to be captured!

Yes you can! There is a chart below telling you how to do that!

Rewind's Bunker

The door in front of you is metal, pieced together with what looks like parts of metal crates, ammo cans, signs... wait, were those bullet holes? Cautiously, you approach the door and knock, ready to bolt if need be. A clanging noise reverberates through the metal as you knock.
KLANG.
KLANG.
KLANG.
A metallic yet harmonious voice calls out, "Coming!" The door opens and reveals... A robotic beast with glowing blue eyes holding a 5 gallon bucket.

-manic cackling- Yess, this is my door. Go ahead. Knock. I'm OPEN. But only once per day. No more.

As for my requirements, I'd like either:
1. A short little story (you don't have to write a novel) involving Rewind and her door. Humor is appreciated, so by all means, joke away!
The sima's personality should be at least vaguely reflected in the story.
2. Or, if you don't like to write, show me your sima in a Halloween costume or a piece of Halloween-y art of your sima.

Once a day you may brave a visit to my doorstep, but I am not responsible for what may become of you.
I will keep the day up in my post, so you're aware of whether you can submit a new form or not. u v u

You find yourself surrounded by a dense, unending forest. You've been driving for miles now, and the lonely car ride is starting to affect you. You notice the trees bending in the wind, reaching out to scrape along the side of your car in an attempt to grasp it and carry you away. The darkness surrounding you makes you shiver uneasily. On a dare, or perhaps a whim, you decided this trip was a good idea- and now as you neared your perceived destination you began to feel doubt swell in your chest. As your car skids to a stop before the looming abandoned mansion before you, your stomach drops and you feel uneasy. Hesitantly you near the door, and extend a hand to knock- but before you can, you're greeted by the door opening of it's own accord.

Standing before you, is a tall, lanky sima with striking fire palette eyes that glow brilliantly in the dim light. He introduces himself as Blake, and asks you what your business there is. You inform him of your situation, having come here for goodies on Halloween night. You'd heard a creature called The Troll dwelled here, and that whatever it may be, it boasted large rewards for anyone brave enough to endure it's trials. He scoffs, and invites you in...

1. You may only visit my door once a day.
2. I love horror, greet me with something spooky! ( Link me to a creepypasta reading I haven't seen or one I like for bonus points! )
3. To be eligible to visit my odor, you must have a short story AT LEAST where your sima's personality is reflected.
4. I love to see pretty art, so if you'd rather not write you can always draw either your sima or Blake to qualify.
5. Your story SHOULD involve approaching Blake at the door, humor me with what happens inside, or what they talk about. You can talk about anything but keep it relevant.

Fur Blower
Makes your sima EXTRA fluffy!

Fur Straightener
Makes your sima less fluffy, giving them a straighter and shorter looking coat.

Gummy Worm
Changes your sima's horns or gives them horns, only from the basic set.

Trolli Gummy Worm
Gives your sima a set of custom horns. This gummy worm's extra sour!

Sour Lemon Juice
So sour, it causes your sima's jewel to change from the shock! Doesn't change rarity, and color is random.

Sour Lime Juice
This has a more concentrated effect, it does change the rarity but is completely random. You may end up with a rarer jewel color, or a more common one. It all depends on the roll.

Talisman
Could be either Blessed or Cursed, has a higher probability of occurring than either of the specified talismans and has a 50/50 probability to bless or curse a sima.

Blessed Talisman
This curious talisman gives your sima a strange, interesting variance. It can work to add an extra breeding, or add hair, or other such edits. Perhaps even just markings- nobody really knows.

Cursed Talisman
This is a trick item that instead of blessing your sima, curses it. This doesn't remove an edit, but instead of giving it a brighter looking or lighter hearted edit, this curse marks a sima in a negative way.

Nail File
Gives your sima claws or removes claws if your sima already has them.

Jack-O-Lanturn
Imprints the face of a jack-o'-lantern on your sima somewhere, it's rolled for probability of location. Can be in the eye or jewel, though it's very rare it has this effect. The marking is generally on the chest or back, and can be either smiling, surprised or sad.

Red Ribbon
Adds hair to your sima!

Tattered Red Ribbon
Adds a small hair edit to your sima, a fringe if you will. Not a full on edit, but still looks pretty rad.

Cataracts
Contrary to the name, all they do is change the color of your sclera. Can be black, or a lighter faded version of the eye color, that or just yellow.

Glow Stick
When you crack this sucker and pour it on your sima's jewel, it's sure to glow! Makes the jewel emit a faint glow.

Spooky Sticker
Adds/changes one small marking. Bonus points if it's festive.

Twix
Gaurentees twins! //Laughs immaturely

Random Chance
Random chance at any item in my humble treats basket, may be anything- even candy.

Candy
Intervals of 2-15, randomly generated.

Treat Policy

I tend to gauge the treat I give you based upon my feelings toward your entry. If I like what you did, then I'm likely to give you a better prize. I see this as somewhat alike the LOLO game of 2012, where quality matters. I will roll if I'm unsure of what to give you, but I'd like to see effort put into the entries sent to me.

Non-Owners Policy

People who are yet to own simas may also tryout for my house! The requirements are as follows...

1. If you'd like to write, simply write about yourself approaching my door and being greeted by Blake.
2. Keep in mind the guidelines for owners.
3. If you'd like to draw, you can always draw Blake or any of my other simas located in my signature.

Be sure to have a wonderful and rather spooky time at Troll's Haunted Mansion! Each time you stop by, you'll be greeted with new horrors, a new story and a new adventure!
