Time to start my summer event again. The past week I've been busy so I haven't had time to hide eggs or goodie bags. But now I have more time so they'll start back up! I'm planning to keep the event running for at least a week. The days missed will be made up~

This egg fell into a large jar of star candies in a candy shop. Its magical powers veiled the jar and candies from humans and kept them safe for the past 100 years. Somehow the egg has become transparent like glass with bits of star candies inside. That's just its markings...right?

I wasn't sure about the eyes when I saw them on the palette, but I think they look cool now that I see them on the Shian itself. Also loving the little dots of color accenting it's head and tail~

Ah yes the eyes. I made the colors solid on the palette just so you know what colors they are, but on the actual eyes, I blended it to give it a more natural look. ouo The little dots here and there are just small bits of candy. Since the candy moves around and rattles when he moves, they get stuck in nooks and crannies in his body. XD

I like that concept. It's unique and fun~

I think I'll name this Shian Maram, an Arabic name meaning 'wish', since the stars remind me of the folded/origami stars some people make to keep wishes safe ^^
I don't know if I want this Shian to have a gender or be gender fluid... Hmm...

Actually, the stars were origami stars at first, but later I thought that candy stars would be more fun. ouo

The candy will certainly be easier to draw than origami stars. But I think both would be equally fun to have~
