Personality: Diana is a down to earth kind of gal, keeping her mind at bay of the wild thoughts that threaten to intrude on her tranquility. Tending to be blunt and truthful, she may hurt your feelings without noticing it until a look of your reaction passed your face. Speaking of that, Diana has grown to read faces as emotion rather than any other way that emotion is to be expressed. Continuing on her personality, she has a dire need to repay anyone she owed previously causing her to be a loyal friend - for a time.
Short story: Time...Weeks before capture... It was a sunny morning from what she could tell from her lonely place in the lush green forest she walked quietly through. Shaking her dark bark colored mane to shoo off some bothersome flies, she couldn't help but stop as she heard an odd sound of squealing. It would've never come from any living creature she had ever encountered. Curiosity certainly got the best of Diana, causing her to spring forward into a lazy trot until she came across a dark path with white and yellow lines drawn on it that smelled of acids as she lowered her head to take a whiff of it. She had heard of these before but wasn't exactly sure if they were friendly or not. Another screech. Picking her head up, the mare noticed a blue object coming her way at a high speed with rays of sun reflecting off the top into her eyes. Closer and closer it came. Diana had no idea what to think of it until it let out a loud blaring sound that caused her to freeze. The large blue object with cylinders were it's feet were supposed to be still didn't stop, in fact, it was picking up speed. It was now only twenty-five meters away. Twenty. Fifteen...
Wham
A body not much larger than her own had collided into her side, pushing her from the path of the monster that was about to attempt on taking her out. Diana heard a pained squeal from the creature that had saved her but was still pushed to the safety of the hardly wooded forest beyond the road. Finally getting out of the terrible stage of fear, she turned her pale face and shining emerald eyes to find a golden appaloosa stallion of her own species looking back at her. Putting a length or two between them, she allowed herself a quick look over of the handsome FAE. Receiving an accusing look from his blue eyes, she blinked and broke the eye contact. Ignoring the furious snorts from the stallion, she couldn't help but notice he was favoring his left rear. The gold and white stallion had taken a hit for her? Lowering her head, she moved forward to tap her tan muzzle to his favored leg and the FAE jumped backward in surprise at this touch. Diana owed this stallion. Her life.
Lover: Achilles
Why is he her lover?: As Diana was saved by Achilles a couple weeks before their capture, she couldn't help but feel she owed him back and decided to give him company and her care until he was fully healed. Though she planned to leave as soon as he was fine, she couldn't help but to become attracted to him. As opposites attract, he is almost her full opposite when it comes to personality. Achilles feels it is easy to share his compassion while Diana is much more reserved. While she is often struck by fear, he often plays hero and so on.
