Deerssert are a mystical, mythological species that appear in history every so often. Sightings grew sparser and sparser through the years, but now they've started to appear more and more. Here at the HQ, a centre dedicated to keeping these creatures from being hunted, we cannot foster them all-- and that's where you come in!

The simplest way to explain them? Deersserts are deer with a twist! While the specifics vary from deer to deer, they all have a few things in common. Deersserts have muscle, skin, fur and bone, but they are described as tasting like sweets. Their scent lingers so much that hides carry a fragrant scent even after death. Instead of fluffy tails, they have a pouf of whipped cream or ice cream [depending on the deer!] with some manner of fruit on top.

Size-wise, they're about the size of a border collie, but have been known to grow to the size of a horse in rare cirucmstances. [In even rarer circumstances, they have gotten bigger. This is the largest deerssert known.] Likewise, they are born as small as a full-grown rabbit, and some never progress past this size.

I haven't made a deerssert in quite some time, so here's a waffle one for you guys! c:

The thing that annoys Kandice the most is when people say waffles are just pancakes with holes. She gets so angry because she has the look of a waffle. She knows that waffles are not just a holey pancake. She embraced the waffle. She thinks that waffles taste better compared to pancakes as well.

Flying insects annoy Malt the most. He actually has two phobias: Entomophobia (fear of insects, particularly arthropods) and Apiphobia (fear of bees). On top of being afraid of insects - particularly flying ones - he honestly just doesn't like them. They crawl all over him, sometimes getting stuck in his syrup, butter, or other toppings, and then he has to try to pick them out. They annoy his waffle-like skin, as they crawl into the crevices in his fur. The bugs make him itch and sneeze, so he thinks he has an allergy to them, as well.

The reason for Malt's fear of bees and other flying insects is rational. When he was younger, he would often like playing outside in his mother's garden. One day, he had picked a bouquet of flowers for her, and was quite happy carrying them in his mouth, trotting into the house to place them in a vase. While Malt was carrying them, two bees flew out of the flowers and into his mouth, stinging the insides of his cheeks and his sensitive gums. His mouth was swollen for a solid week after that, and quite painful. Malt now fears bees for the pain they inflict.

Malt's fear of the other flying creatures is more irrational. He phobia is something called "fear due to association." Because flies look like bees and they buzz like them as well, he fears them. Even though he rationally knows that flies can do no harm - other than being dirty and annoying as the flit about - Malt still fears them due to his feelings about bees. As for dragonflies, another insect he's not too fond of, he simply doesn't like the size of them. Where he lives, dragonflies are VERY large, and he happens to fear larger bugs more than smaller ones. Malt doesn't mind ants or ladybugs, but if he sees an insect larger than that, he'll do everything he can to get away from said insect.

One of the typical contests to be held is a number generator contest, where every person is given a number and then one to three people win something. What if you hold a number generator contest, but instead of one to three people winning, you guarantee that at least half of the people who have a number will win something? I personally hate it when there are, like, 50 entries and only 3 people win something (as it's usually not me who wins), especially if it's not based on talent or dedication but "luck of the dice."

Another typical idea is to give out prizes (CS pets, DA points, etc.) to one to three people out of the people who enter such a contest. The contest is normally centered around writing or drawing, and the best one usually wins. What if you changed this typical contest up, and made a contest for prizes for the people who did the WORST, instead of the best?
