Name;;
Maya.
Personality;;
Maya, surprisingly, is quite timid and quiet, living in the shadows. She enjoys helping out people, but not in ginormous ways, like changing their lives. It just scares her since she might change their lives so much, it might be bad! If you couldn't tell, she is a worrier, and it bothers her, but she just brushes it off whenever someone calls her out on it. She actually enjoys caring about her looks, and it sure pays off, but, she doesn't show it off or brag. If someone compliments her, she says a quiet 'thank you," and moves along.
Story;;
Maya was slinking around a forest, guided by the laughter of fellow Plumerians. She didn't want to talk to them, if that's what you were thinking. She just wanted to watch the fun from afar, far enough that she wouldn't be seen, heard or smelt. She wasn't one to be playing some of the dangerous games her fellow species-mates played in their free time.
She settled down and watched with interest. She patted her side to make sure her first-aid kit/human box filled with leaf wraps and herbal remedies, was still hanging from her shoulders and quickly ducked her head when the unknown Plumerians turn towards her. She wasn't spotted and they resumed playing. She resumed watching, much more carefully.
Maya started to close her eyes as the Plumerians played far into the night. She was awoken by a blood-curdling scream and she raced towards it. There was a Plumerian laying on the ground, grasping her left hind leg with her paws and had her jaws open in a silent scream. Her friends explained that she had been bowled over by the biggest of the bunch, by accident, and she had fallen in such pain, it was scary.
Maya nodded in understanding and begun to sniff the leg, checking for what the injury was. She figured out it was a broken leg and decided to taken quick measurements. She grabbed some sticks from her first aid kit and placed them strategically around the leg and then continued the treatment by wrapping a leaf wrap around it to stabilize it for the journey home that the Plumerian would be taking. She then grabbed some thyme from her herb pouch and told the Plumerian to eat it, since it helped with easing shock. The Plumerian nodded and then ate the herb, swallowing reluctantly.
"You two," Maya said quietly, pointing her tail towards the two biggest Plumerians present, "Take her home and make sure she doesn't make any sudden movements. And please, use common sense if you have a question about how to deal with a Plumerian with a broken leg, because breaking her other legs will just make it worse." She softly giggled and then dipped her head politely. "Sorry about intruding on your game," she added after, realizing what she had just done in the heat of the moment.
The Plumerian with the broken leg shook her head furiously. "No! You just saved me! If you weren't here, these barbarians would've kept playing and would just brush me to the side!" She exclaimed as the two Plumerians picked her up gently and laid her on their backs. "Thank you," she said to Maya as their eyes met. And that was the last time Maya had ever seen her.
