Aedus is rebellious and not fond of listening to anyone other
than himself.Anyone who tries to tell him what to do will be
ignored. He often forgets that others have feelings and that
elders should be respected. He simply does as he wishes and
dodges the punishments. Of course, it all catches up to him
eventually, at which point he tries to smooth talk his way
out of it, although that doesn't often work. He spews out
sarcasm when he speaks and almost never seems to be
amused about anything. He's not antisocial, but finding
others he likes to talk to is near impossible. Most
often he'd rather play a prank on someone than have
a conversation. He has a fiery temper that is often
poorly concealed, but he will never lash out at anyone
while angry. Rather, he'll hole up somewhere and not
show his face for a long time. Although he doesn't care
much for others, he doesn't want to hurt them with his
anger, as he knows he might.

One of the things he wants nothing to do with is water. It doesn't
hurt him in any way, nor has he had a bad experience. The reason he
hates it is based on thought. Whenever he sees water all he can think
about is how deep it is. He isn't afraid of water, but he is afraid of
drowning. Another thing he dislikes is yelling. He doesn't like raising
his own voice, nor others raising theirs. Nobody really likes losing, but
Aedus makes being a poor sport into an art form. Normally, he'll refuse to do
whatever it was ever again...unless he wants a rematch.

The list of things he enjoys is limited, but fire sits at the top. He lives
up to his name in this sense. He enjoys burning things and watching the
smoke and ashes floating away. Because of so much smoke exposure, his
lungs are not in very good condition. He also enjoys knocking things down,
purely for the loud noises.

One of his favorite ways to mess with people is to pull them
out of their comfort zones. This is how he met his 'friend',
Breve. He learned that she was afraid of socializing, so the
best way to get under her skin was going to be talking to her.
Not being shy, this wasn't a problem, but he simply expected
to irritate her, not to become friends.

Aedus doesn't often fail at irritating strangers, but meeting
Oni was one of those rare occasions. Nothing he did could annoy
her. In fact, he was the one getting annoyed. Not being one
who easily surrenders, he keeps at it, trying something
different every time he sees her.

Aedus' favorite hobby would be burning anything and everything he can
find. He knows multiple ways to start fires and several methods to
change the colors of the flames or make it spark. Starting fires is
also his method of anger control, as it calms him down. He enjoys
doing parkour, but 'falling off of high places' would be a better
description.... The least dangerous activity is exploring his
surroundings. Not to say that's completely safe, but it's as close as
he can get, as he likes action.
He may seem OCD, in the sense that dust cannot be on anything.
If he sees dust on something, especially black surfaces he has
to wipe it off. He...just...has...to.... Unfortunately, he's
allergic to dust and starts sneezing every time he sends it into
the air. He tends to let himself get dehydrated before he'll
drink anything. He hates water so much, he'll wait as long as
possible before he has to actually drink. Finally, he has a creepy
habit of observing other deer from a distance/hiding place.
He does this so he can better annoy those he talks to.
