- What is a Calad-Faer?
Calad-Faer literally means "light spirit". They are spirits that take the form of equines, closely resembling horses with ram horns. Unlike most other spirits, these are not immortal, and age just as other animals do. They have a certain tendency to vanish out of thin air when compromised, but their markings will always show. Almost all Faers will have "light" markings. These are not glow, but are simply a much lighter color than the base. Rarely there are some that do not, called Duath-Faers, "dark spirits". Due to their extreme rarity, not much is known about these creatures, but we do know that these Duath-Faers may have extraordinary magical abilities, but most often have evil intentions.
About Calad-Faers:
- No matter the gender, Calad-Faers will always have horns. They are their main defense mechanism, aside from a hearty back-kick.
- Even in the womb, Calad-Faers have tiny horns that don't fully develop until they reach adulthood.
- They are naturally very wise and personable creatures, all except for Duath-Faers, of course.
- Calad-Faers come in all different colors, and have all sorts of markings, though never in extremely bright arrays.
- They can only breed 3 times in their lives. The third time, they stay with that male as an eternal mate.
- Females tend to form groups of 3 to 8, called a Forte.
- Males are loners, until they find a mate. When they do, the female leaves her Forte and goes to live together, forming a Forte of themselves and the female's children, whether he is the father of them all or not.

- Be respectful to all staff on and off the forums.
- Do not ask to be an artist unless you are a good friend of mine or Xanga's when I am not currently looking for them.
- Don't ask for customs; they are for artists, mods, and friends.
- You can currently have up to 5 foundation CFs, 3 babies, (they will still count as babies when they are aged) and 2 customs.
- Do not steal the species, designs, or line art.
- If you no longer want your CF, please give it up to me for re-adoption.
- Please note a mod if you are gifting your CF and be sure that you receive a confirmation PM from me before you gift it.
- If you are in violation of these rules, you may get a strike or a ban, depending on severity.

How do I adopt a Calad-Faer?
CF adoptions will be frequent, so check in often! In order to adopt one, you must follow the instructions to the best of your ability on each adoption page.
How do I become an artist/guest artist?
When I am in need, I will create a contest seeking skilled artists for the species. When I create one, you can find the link here. I am currently NOT looking for artists or guest artists, unless you are a good friend.
