Mirembe frequently enjoys watching the safari, sometimes to scout for predators, other times to spy the horns of her favorite animal; the Greater Kudu. She doesn't so much enjoy the animal, because it looks similar to her in most ways, but she absolutely swoons over the set of horns it carries. Though she knows it's impossible, one of her most desired goals is to proudly display large horns of her own. She admires the Kudu to an extreme extent, and respects them highly for having such intricate, graceful, and powerful horns.

I chose this name from a book series 'His Dark Materials', where
Serefina Pekkala is a witch. All witches have bird 'daemons',
which are animal formed representations of one's self,and
this Deerssert would like to think that her favourite safari animal
might be hers.

Serafina loves the Lilac-Breasted Roller birds. She thinks they must be the bravest creatures in Africa, as they wear their bright colours, despite the many dangers they bring from predators, just to make everyone who sees them smile. Serafina hopes that she can be like them in the way that showing her true colours would make people happy.

Favorite Safari Animal; Alcippe's favorite animal would be the... Dik Dik. She finds that the dik dik's are quite the funny little creatures, and loves scaring them, as when they are alarmed, they make the same sound they are knowingly named after. She mostly loves them for both their cuteness and their hilarity, and they always manage to make her laugh. She really just loves laughing, as it is the african hyenas trademark, with their happy, cackling laughter.

Favorite Safari Animal;
Kaede's favorite safari animal is the okapi. In fact, she has a small collection of okapi merchandise, including stuffed plushes, pictures, postcards, and figurines!
Kaede loves okapis because of their beautiful pelt and their docile nature. She also finds it highly interesting that they look like a cross between a donkey and a zebra, but they are most closely related to the giraffe. They also eat charcoal created from when lightning strikes the trees in their native rainforests.
Sadly, okapis are a threatened species, which Kaede works hard to reverse. There are estimated to be 10,000 - 20,000 left in the wild, with about 150 in captivity.
