Alrighty folks. Before everyone spazzes i need this to be known -
These two are VERY special to me, for reasons I'd rather not say.
So a bit of effort will be required for them. You can only win one, so choose wisely.
Prettying is fine, Adding is fine. No bright colors, no GIFS, no irrelevant anythings. No Deleting given information.
Edits are fine -But no reserving- At least post a form with a name to mark your place if a WIP is needed.
That being said- Have at it and good luck!
Alrighty, this is a mother's day adopt. Unfortunately for these siblings , they no longer have a mother. Which is why they are being adopted out so young. They need a loving, caring individual to care for them.
This won't end for a while, but like I said, these are very special kiddies, and I'd like to see some effort.
ALSO, the Filly is blind in her left eye- hence the absence of color.she has moon blindness. The colt is the older sibling- they have the same father, and same mother.

Age: Currently- 2 months. When grown?: Eight Years
Breed: APH[12.5%] X AQH[25%]X Percheron[12.5%]X Mustang[50%]

Discipline: Meet Miss Trail Horse! Being partially blind, Pandora has it a bit harder than others. She rides with the younger children to teach them about trust. Having a sweet, calm disposition despite some occasional skittishness, she is ideal for trail rides and inexperienced riders. Pandora loves the trails and being in nature; she lives to simply go out and have an easy time, a nice ride in a quiet line. She seems a lot older than she looks, and wide beyond her years. Pandora would rather live her easy, comfortable, quiet life then one that is the routy and loud life of styles like gymkhana, eventing, etc.

Book Helping With Stance Of Foal: The Ultimate Guide to Drawing Horses by Rae Young
Story/poem: Her Sibling Bond
[For the sake of my story, I've picked a random name for her brother. I'm going to call him Pine, and can edit names if I win and if I see who wins the colt.]
I frolicked about, my brother beside me on my good side. I was grinning as I charged faster, silently challenging Pine to a race. "I'm gonna beat you, Pandora! Your legs are shorter than mine!" I rolled my eyes and let my legs carry me as fast as they could. He always liked to bring up how I was younger and "inferior to him". It just gave me all the more reason to win. We set our typical finish line, the lonely oak in the middle of the pasture. We ran past it, the whole length of the pasture, and then back to the tree.
I was gonna win this time. I had been practicing when Pine wasn't watching. I was fast! "Don't count on it!" I barked back at him before taking off. I pumped my legs, bobbed my head, up down up down up down. I listened to the thunderous beats of my hooves, uneven with my brother's. I listened to the rhythm they created, concentrating on speeding it up. Beat him, Pandora! Beat him! Exhilaration pumped through me.
But he used my blind side to his advantage. I didn't see him sneaking his way up, slowly reaching himself forward until he was in front of me. No! I gave him a snotty look and struggled to keep my pace with him, making it to the end of the pasture at good time. I turned on a dime and started to the tree. Now I was in the lead! I ran and ran, just barely skidding to a halt before the tree. Huffing and puffing, I flopped down just as my brother reached the tree. We lay down together, laughing giddily and staring at the clouds.
I must have fallen asleep at some point, or taken a really long blink, for when I next opened my eyes it was nightfall. I didn't find Pine beside me, but above me. He leaned over me, about to fall asleep but struggling to stay awake for me. He was protecting me. A thrilling emotion of love washed over me. I gently tapped him, looking to him so he might lay down, or else he would fall on me. We slept together that night, waking only mid-afternoon. I groggily awoke to find Pine gone. Hiding? Exploring? I didn't know.
So I went looking. I was Pandora the Detective. Pandora the Smarty Pants. Pandora the Great! I sniffed out his scent, and found him picking daisies near the barn. I raised my eyebrows and sniffed at him. "Pandora! No, don't look." He insisted. I rolled my eyes at Pine but obliged. With my eyes closed, Pine shuffled about until he ordered me to open them.
He held a small bouquet of the yellow flowers. I smiled as he stuffed them in my mane haphazardly. Despite his inability to accessorize, I loved my brother. Pine enjoyed me and didn't treat me like a baby because of my eye. He understood.

Story/poem: The sky was dark with clouds and though there was no rain the wind that blew was smelt of it. The pasture was large and grassy with a shelter off to the right where most of the horses stood to get out of the winds grasp. Ash stood in the middle of the field with his head held high. His blue eyes searching the world around him. In all his one year and five months the passed two months have been a mystery to him. In those two months he gained a sister, but lost a mother. It was an interesting mix of feeling. Looking at the tiny foal that was his kin he saw fragility, spirit and life. He felt a connection that came with siblings. But he also felt pain, almost that of betrayal. While his little sister was there his mother was now gone and even though he knew it was unfair he felt the two events were connected. Shaking his head he cleared his mind of such thoughts. It wasn’t fair to blame a filly. A small snort took his attention and he turned to see the small form of his sister behind him. “What are you doing out here?” he looked at him curiously “Its cold.” Ash watched her quietly for a moment. “I like it out here. I like the clouds and the wind.” He replied and she shook her fluff the called a mane. “That’s silly.” She replied but trotted around him and spindly legs her honey colored coat standing out against the cool colors of the day. “Silly?” he asked in amusement. “If this is so silly then why are you out here in the cold?” She stopped and looked at him with defiant eyes though one was sightless. “Because my silly big brother is out here all by himself.” Shaking his head again he watched her. Stubborn little thing, he thought as he saw her shiver when the wind picked up. “Race you.” He said and took off for the sheltered part of the pasture. She was quick on his heels and he slowed enough so that she beat him. He went over to her and stood by her side as the rain started to come down.
Congrats. I know this took forever ,but I had my reasons. These two are indeed special to me.
Arrows, it was sort of by default- but congrats.
and , Tynahi, I loved your art. ^^ Well done.

When they began to start Kemper's training... Sorry it was a quick one seeing as it was all I have time for at the moment. Pm me if you want the photo to be bigger c:
Story/poem: Kemper was a lively colt the day the young girl met her. She was with a boy with sloppy ginger hair and a caring smile. The boy watched a young girl as she looked at the colt curiously as if to be saying 'show me what you got little man.' The small colt reminded the girl of her younger brother and the love in her heart for him had already ignited. She watched him in his stall for a little bit before turning to the ginger boy, smiling, giving him a quick kiss and grabbing the halter he held in his hand. The girl slipped into the stall with the colt and slipped the halter softly and gently over his muzzle and his baby soft ears. She murmured sweet words to him and handed him grains as he began to refuse the halter.
