These small furred mammals closely resemble the body structure of a ferret. Their sizes ranges from that of a small rabbit to that of a medium sized dog or large cat. A Light Collectors fur can be found in a very large variety of colors, although there is rarely any neon based ones.
One of the first things you may notice about these delightful beings is that they are capable of moving as fast as the speed of light. This trait helps them to avoid being eaten or attacked by other animals, as well as being captured against their will by humans. Another thing that is quite remarkable about a Light Collector is the glowing flame that is found at the ends of their tails and horns.
Light Collectors survive by eating a wide variety of light, which they absorb by collecting light particles found by the light of everyday light-bulbs. A LC can eat any type of light that they find, but their favorite light treat is light that shines the same color as that of a LCs glow.

Personality ;; [under 300 words] Melidium is a rather carefree explorer. She likes to think herself as a gypsy of sorts; always traveling around, not a care in the world, carrying an air of mystery. Meli likes to stick her nose in small, hidden, or both kinds of places. A secret hideout is her dream home, and with how curious Meli is, she may just find one someday. Meli also has a liking to tarot cards, or any other kind of card game.

Meli peered over the tarot cards. "Choose," she said, suppressing a giggle.
Meli and a friend were doing tarot cards. Or rather, Meli was trying to get Lydia to participate. Lydia, however, had other interests. "really, Meli, why do you find this so fun? A few pieces of paper can't tell you the future. Why bother with this nonsense?"
"It's not about finding about your future; it's the fun of doing it!" Meli replied. "Now pick one, or I'll give you the card with the most gruesome fate!"
Doing a dramatic groan, Lydia slapped her paw on one of the cards.
Picking up the card, Meli read the card. Then read it again. Then snorted.
"What?" Lydia asked. "Did I suffer a gruesome fate as you planned?"
Meli snorted again, and this time it turned into a giggle.
"What?!" Lydia didn't like the way Meli was laughing. "What is it?!"
Meli only shook her head, still laughing.
"Tell me!" Lydia shouted, frustrated.
Meli managed to gasp, "No! Never!"
Then she collapsed into a giggling fit.
