Name: I've decided to name her Greyscale, with her base white color and grey markings. I thought it fit her because, well, her color scheme is pretty much grey.
Y'know, minus the pink tips.Gender: I have decided to make her female. I could easily, however, see both ways, as grey is a sort of neutral color.

How did he/she get his/her Scarf?: There they were. What were they doing in there? Young Greyscale could only wonder what the humans were doing behind the glass as she stared in from the outside. She watched as they put fabric beneath machines and... They were melded together! Greyscale couldn't believe what they were doing in there. It was like some sort of odd magic to the young Puffsnout. Befuddled, she wanted to try it for her own. Quick as a cheetah, she hopped away from the big window and bounded into the town. She was sure not to stay in the sun too long, as this could damage her skin. She found an alleyway well shaded by the tall buildings that formed it, and bounded in.
She spotted a large trash can, and decided to check in there. For what? Some fabrics, like the humans used. She gently set her horn on the side of the can, then shoved it hard with a twist of her neck. It was sent slamming into the floor, clattering like a bunch of spoons hitting each other. Garbage poured out, but... There was no food within the metal can. In this case, that was a good thing. Greyscale wasn't wanting to dig through rotten food. She snuffled through the trash, and eventually found what she was searching for.
She laid the cloth out on the floor, all six pieces. They were all in neat squares, and pretty good shape. Each of them had some darker spots spread out across them. Greyscale guessed they had all come as one set, as human things often did. She piled them up in order; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and picked them up gently in her mouth. Just one more thing; a needle. As much as Greyscale hated sharp things, she had taken note that the human machines being used in that place had needles on them. Thus, Greyscale needed to get one if she wanted to mimic whatever the humans were doing.
Not knowing where else to get one, Greyscale guessed that the best place to find a needle would be in a trash can behind the place she was looking in. The young Puffsnout exited her current ally and began to trot over toward the sewing place. She went around the side and made her way to the back of the building. Sure enough, there were trash cans there. Greyscale picked out the smallest can, and knocked it over, using the same tactic as the last. After it went clattering to the ground just like the last, Greyscale carefully shuffled the spilled contents about with her horn. She then saw it glisten in the sun; a needle! Greyscale gently separated the needle with her horn, and picked it up with one claw.
Hobbling on three legs since one was occupied, the Puffsnout hurried back to where the humans were messing around with cloth. She lifted her needle to start, then realized something; the needle was bent at the tip! With a quiet shriek, she grabbed the tip and forcefully bent it back into place. She then gazed back into the window at the humans, searching for a way she could possibly make something like them. She spotted a human in the corner, using a needle to sew. A needle just like she had.
With a happy squeal, Greyscale began to mimic the human perfectly in every way. As time went on, her fabric pieces were sewn together, and they began to form a longer strip of cloth. When she was done, she stopped to examine the long cloth. What was it? The answer was unknown, until she saw the human wrap it around his neck. Realizing what to do with it now, Greyscale wrapped it around her own neck, examining it by tilting her head down, making her look very odd. The scarf looked nice, and she liked the colors. Ever since then, the scarf has never left Greyscale's neck, and it won't any time soon.
What The Scarf's Design looks Like: 
Her scarf is a patchwork design consisting of one patch of each color of the rainbow except indigo. Each patch of color has a series of darker polka dots scattered around.

Favorite place: Greyscale loves anywhere where there are cool rocky formations. She loves the desert for that reason, as they are commonly filled with rock arches, canyons, arroyos, and all kinds of other cool rocks. As much as the big rock formations, Greyscale likes tiny cool rocks, too. She has a collection of oddly-colored rocks and gemstones, and is always on the lookout for more. She likes diamonds the best, though she hasn't managed to find any in the desert, where she commonly visits. She likes the warm sand and, once again, all of the cool rock formations. Also, not to mention the vast, flat horizon to watch the sun rise and set from. These are her favorite things, and they're all found in one place.
