Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.
The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.
Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.
The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.
A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

Alphae is quite a trickster, who enjoys using the faint glow of his gem to lure people off of their intended paths at night. He is easily bored, and has a fascination with the exotic and extraordinary. He is also quite vain, if you were to stumble across him in daylight, he would most likely be admiring his wings and sleek fur. Alphae has a fiery temper, and can be rather reckless. He loves to be in charge of anything, be it a simple group task or a large organized project.

It's pretty warm where I live right now. Kinda cold at night though. Me, I'll probably be hitting the road again pretty soon. I've never really had any family, or a pack. Just grew up in a place where lots of people would pass by. Lots of them were kind enough to take pity on a kit I guess. I'd thank them, but I don't know who they are. They're the reason I'm alive.

Once I was big enough, I got out of there as fast as I could. Living there was boring, and my paws itched to take me somewhere more exciting. Maybe there would be less humans around. I had heard from some travelling simas that used to pass by that up north, there was something called snow. They said it was soft and light and cold, but that it disappeared when there was any heat around. Since the day I heard about it about it, I'd always wanted to experience it for my own.

To be honest, I really didn't know which way was north back then. I just kind of... walked. And whenever I felt tired of walking every day, I stayed at places that I thought were 'cool'. I kind of scared other animals. I wouldn't blame them, the poor bunnies probably didn't know a winged guy like me with a pointy tail would come charging right through one day. Needless to say, I traveled. For a pretty long time. And somehow, I ended up in a beautiful labyrinth of tree trunks, where the sky could only be visible through patches of nothing between branches and leaves. There was a river, somewhere in the maze, and even from far away, you could hear it. I don't know why, but I liked the place. I settled down, and I've been here since.

A lot of people, animals, simas passed through this place. Talking to them grew boring after a while, and I was left with nothing to do. It wasn't until I realized that my tail jewel glowed pretty nicely in the dark, that I finally found something worthwhile to do. Lots of people who got lost always ended up following the light, as a last hope or some silly belief or something. Others thought my tail was a will o wisp, but either way, pretty soon after I had settled in, the rumors spread.

Hey, just because I like to play pranks doesn't mean I'm mean. Really. I'm not. Sure, I'm kind of lonely, but that's what you get for living in a pretty isolated place. Sometimes I even feel kinda bad for leading someone off the path. Especially if they start panicking, or flip out or something huge. Easy to fix though, I'd just try to lead them back the way they came. If they don't buy that, well, they're kind of doomed until the morning.

Morning, you ask? Why is that? First off, nobody would be able to get led off the trail in the morning by my tail. Sunlight is kind of brighter than my tail, you know. Not kinda, but a lot brighter. Besides, with these wings and a tail like this, some pesky human is probably going to capture me. So no thanks. I'll keep staying in during the day and roaming at night.

We can leave off at this; I'm a trickster who helps ignite interests and beliefs in the supernatural. There are rumors. Nobody knows what that misleading light is. Sometimes there are stories of a benevolent lavender spirit that guides people away from harm. Hey, it's not like I'm in a perpetual state of silly, you know.
