JBD #649 -I have a home-

Postby PolarAzulTigris » Thu Jan 23, 2014 6:14 pm

What is a Jellybean Dragon?

A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

name: Rosalinda Rimmer -
First;; Rosalinda "Rosalin" - Latinate form of Rosalind;
Derived from the Germanic elements hros "horse" and linde "soft, tender". The Normans introduced this name to England, though it was not common. During the Middle Ages its spelling was influenced by the Latin phrase rosa linda "beautiful rose". The name was popularized by Edmund Spencer, who used it in his poetry, and by William Shakespeare, who used it for the heroine in his comedy 'As You Like It' (1599).
Last;; Rimmer - Means "poet" from the Middle English rime(n).

gender: Female

Fondest Memory: "What is your f-fondest Memory?" Sen asked me curiously, I looked to him, swiftly my eyes crusaded away from him, he was so handsome, but I knew his heart was for someone else. "Well..." I said, reaching up and touching the delicate golden collar that rested on my neck, it had a golden chain leash that fell down and often dragged on the ground, but it was beautiful all the same. On the middle of the collar was a locket with the name Garth on it. "My fondest of memories would be of my Bernese Mountain dog... Garth, I got him when I was little, the first present ever from my father, he was my 5th birthday present" I said softly, recalling him. "Is that why you never t-take off that collar?" Sen asked timidly, I nodded slowly, "I take it everywhere with me" I said to him, "I can't help it... Garth saved my life... I can never forget what he did" I said, "How did he save your life?" Sen questioned tilting his head.

"I was young" I noted, "Garth had been my best friend for almost 5 years, I was 10 at the time, almost anyways, it was just before my birthday... remember that mean bully from school?" I asked, "Oh... y-yea, the one that pushed y-you and pulled your fur?" He asked, "Yea him" I sighed looking down sadly, "I had been really upset and wasn't watching where I was going from school, the bully had followed after me and started to tease and push me around... I cried because it hurt, but no one else seemed to help me, the other beans ran home to their parents leaving me with the bully..." I said sadly, Sen looked away, he had been dragged off by Toboe to go play on that day. "Garth came all the way from home because I wasn't there like I normally was. He came and tackled the bully away growling at him, the bully ran off scared that Garth would bite him" I said and smiled faintly touching the collar again, "He saved me from the bully... how could I ever forget that? He was such a brave dog, and he came for me, my best friend... one of them" I blushed lightly, Sen smiled timidly, "Well.. I know for sure he is s-still watching over y-you" he said. I smiled lightly and nodded my head, "yea... Garth was always a wonderful dog... I know he's up there, chasing away bullies" I chuckled, he nodded, "Come on, I'll take you for l-lunch" he said, I nodded blushing again as I walked with him.

name:
Chiarina which is of Italian origin and means "clear, bright".
Chiarina is pronounced Chi-are-ina, and her family roll the
'r' in her name. Her nickname to friends is Chi. She alo gets
called Chicka or Rin, but hates Rin.

gender:
Female, Chick, Girl, Lady...

fondest memory:
When Chiarina was about five, her grandmother taught her
how to make crostoli, which is an Italian dish. Being fully Italian,
Chi is fond of everything Italian. The food, clothes... everything!
Her Grandmother, -which she called Nonna- is a skilled crostoli
maker, and Chi loves her very much. She grew up in Italy, and
that is why she learned making it at a vry young age. This was
normal for the chlidren in Italy. Enough of me rambling,
of too the story!

"I was about five and I went over to my Nonna's farm for my
birthday. I loved my Nonna very much, so I wanted to see her
on my birthday. When I got there, I found two long tables and a
Pasta maker outside, and I really had no idea what was
happening... Chippy -their little dog- had some crostoli in her
bowl, and I aked when it was. Nonna said it was what we were
making and gave me some. I loved it from the first taste and
I couldnt wait to start. We got making... Adding the eggs, sugar,
flour, lemons and vanilla essence. Then we left it for a few
hours and I got some help to make myself a bithday cake.

Then we got out the crostoli and rolled it out, out it though the
pasta maker until it was thin, almost transparent. I first had the
job of cutting the dough down the middle, then to little box like
shapes. Then I twited the dough and placed it into the boiling
oil. Like my Nonna says, "You dont just make them for yourself,
you make them for the whole town!". So we did, and spent
three hours making five batches of it. I swear after it my paws
almost fell off! But I will never forget this day, the day I learnet
how to make Crostoli. Then we dusted them with icing sugar
and I ate like a pig!"

suggestions for designs:
xxx Afican themed, like tibal or an Afican anaiml.
xxx Pixels maybe?
xxx Ink omg, like ink pouring from some oart of the body
xxx Maybe like a pretty flower?
xxx Fancy... like a masquerade theme?
xxx Fox, I would love that!

Gender:
Male, I can't see the female in him.
Fondest Memory:
Chui's fondest memory was when he got to take his best friend Elise on an evening picnic, fireworks included.
(Elise is owned by smileygirl99 and I do have permission to use her~ :3)

Chui had been trying to arrange this for sometime now, and now that he finally did, he was scared. Elise was his best friend, but it was no surprise that he'd had a slight crush on her too. As he sat looking over the hill where he sat, the soft sound of footsteps approaching made him cock his head. "Hey t-there, Chui!" Elise said cheerfully, obviously glad to see her friend.
"H-hey." he stuttered. "P-please, take a s-seat." She did so, and Chui opened up the picnic basket. There were a large assortment of cakes and other sweet treats (all dairy free due to Elise's allergy), along with a few bottles of soft drink, or 'soda'. The two sat and ate for what seemed like forever, until a loud bang sounded in the sky. Elise's eyes lit up along with the fireworks, amazed at what Chui had put together.

"T-this is just...b-beautiful." She whispered to her friend. Chui cleared his throat before saying anything.
"Did it hurt?" He said to Elise. She cocked her head to look at him, a confused looked grazing her face.
    "Did w-what hurt?" She responded.
"When you fell from heaven." Elise attempted to hold back a laugh, but it didn't work.
"Aww, Chui. Y-you're so sweet." A faint blush fell across his face.
"I know I'm sweet, sorry I don't come sugar free." Again, Elise laughed at his cheesyness.
"No, s-stop it! I'll die from l-laughter!" Chui laughed just as loud when he heard the comment.
"I know I don't have a chance, but I just wanted to hear an angel talk." He felt Elise give him a gentle slap across the back of the head, letting off a sigh.
"You r-really are an o-odd one."

Name:
    Sharon

Gender:
    Female

Fondest Memory:
In her earlier teenage years, dear Sharon had found a young romance with another bean. They were always together, but the other was always surrounded by sorrow and difficulties. As they aged, their lives changed. The bean Sharon cared for fell ill with quickly progressing terminal cancer.

The young female knew their time was short, so one night, the two simply watched the stars from the top of one of the highest buildings. While the weaker bean watched the stars with their glazed eyes filled with soft tears as their life was fading away, Sharon watched their expressions and the starlight in their eyes. She would not forget that bean, not even when they were long gone and she was old.

This still holds to be Sharon's fondest memory, for she cherishes those fading moments in the cool starlight, just being quiet with the one she once cared for. True, they were young, but facing something like cancer forced both of them to mature quickly, especially Sharon. These final moments helped her get through the painful weeks without, not only who she had cared for, but a close friend.

I absolutely adore WT, so perhaps more of their songs? Some of my favorites are: The Howling, Memories, and Stand My Ground. However, since this bean is based off of a WT song, perhaps something a bit older would be best so the inspirations don't seem too repetitive in a short amount of time. I suggest some songs by The Beatles or perhaps The Grateful Dead. Or, for something more recent, One-Eyed Doll makes some wonderful songs! I tend to use music for most of my inspiration, so I apologize if you are looking for inspiration aside from songs.

Fondest Memory: (Please to sum this up two or three paragraphs at most)
It was quite awhile ago when Jarrah went to his first visit at a small shop that collected rare bells. Jarrah has always loved bells, especially ones that have a bit of wood on it, preferably on a handle or loop to attach a string on. There were a lot of bells in there but not many small ones. Bells with star carvings were some he saw a lot of and ones with small dents. At last he found one bells that looked different to every other bell, this bell was rather small, it was small enough to fit into the palm of his hands, even slightly smaller. It had swirls, almost like the ones he has on his back, and the gold had rusted and lost its colour at the bottom of the bell. Mind you, it also had quite a bit of wear and tear with a wooden loop that had small chips in several spots. Then, that very day yound Jarrah had retrieved his favourite bell that is known today as Timbell and is always found on the end of a string that clips onto his ear.

"My fondest memory is the day that I went on my very first date, well, sort of. My high school homeroom teacher (though we called them Advocacy teachers), after learning that I had gotten a date for Senior Ball, got in touch with one of my date's teachers and set up a date for us to get to know each other while eating sub sandwiches. The date was put off several times due to my date either not being able to make it or the teachers forgetting, but it finally happened; unfortunately, it was happening on Unity Day.
Unity day is this day my high school puts on and when you sign up for it, you are excused from your classes for the day and spend it in the gymnasium with other students from different grade levels. You are put in groups and basically talk about yourself, bear your true self to others. The point is to basically create a sense of unity among classmates. I had signed up for this because I had wanted to participate in it for several years and it was on my high school bucket list of things I wanted to do my Senior year and I wasn't going to miss it for the world. So what ended up happening was that my Advocacy teacher sent the activity director an e-mail telling him what was up and for him to excuse me during the lunch break.
Everything went well, even though I totally forgot to remind the activity director that I needed to be excused for lunch at the beginning of Unity Day, but everything worked out in the end. I had dressed up nice for my date, it was probably unnecessary, but I wanted to look nice since I'd never been on a date before and I wanted to make the most out of the experience. My only real regret is that I missed out on getting pizza, which is like one of my absolute favorite foods, but the sub sandwich was also very good and it was very nice to get to know my date a little bit better than I knew him and getting to talk about the date afterwards to a girl in my group was fun too, along with my parents, and friends. It was a very memorable day and one that I will always cherish."
