So I have mixed feelings about this design. I love it but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. Anywho,
the line edits include Head, neck, stomach, back, and flanks. All line edits were done to make the horse look more like the breed: Longer neck with a refined head with predominantly a straight profile and long ears. The long back is lightly muscled, and is coupled to a flat croup and long, upright neck. A rather slim body and rib cage with a deep chest. I edited the flanks to make the horse look a bit more angular and slender.

This is so pretty! Love the line edits.

Show Name:
Horse of Steel
Barn Name:
Metallica
Gender:
Stallion
Age:
Eight Years of Age
Breed:
Akhal Teke
Color:
Grey Dapple Metallic
Height:
14.3 Hands
Fact About Akhal Tekes:
The ancestors of the Akhal Teke possibly go back to some animals living three-thousand years ago, often known as a Nisean horse. The breed could be a direct descendant of the Turkoman horse, a horse rather similar to this breed. It is believed that the breed was first used for raiding by tribal people of what is currently Turkmenistan, and they were considered a valuable possession.

Story:
The Akhal Teke trotted dejectedly along the rocky terrain, stomach rumbling loudly and mouth parched. His trailer had broken down, and when his owner let him out to get out of the stuffy, hot area, he had run and run. When he stopped, Metallica realized that he didn't know where he was. It had been nearly three days, and the horse was in desperate need of water. He was a strong stallion, but no animal could survive without nutrients. Every rustle made him twitch and jump, looking around wildly. The world he had once known was turned upside down, and Metallica didn't like it. The sun's angry, fierce rays beat down on him relentlessly. He couldn't do this much longer.
*-*-*
It was night. All was nearly quiet except for the crickets and the sound of trickling water. Water! It registered in his mind finally. With the little ounce of strength he had left, Metallica ran to the noise. There it was. A system of trickling waterfalls and relieving pool of water. Since he'd been walking, the terrain had become grassier. From what he could find, the stallion had gobbled down grass. So now, he rushed up to the water and gulped it down, splashing it all over himself. The summer air had cooled, and he lay in the soft grass, belly fuller and mouth moist, falling asleep in peace.
*-*-*
Metallica awoke to the burning sun, stumbling to his hooves with a yawn. He filled himself again on the fresh grass, and drank gallons of water, but he knew he couldn't stay. He had to find civilization again. So the Akhal Teke started walking again, eyes a bit brighter. Miles later, his eyes were clouding again. The stallion was thirsty again, and hungry. He paused to graze, but then kept going. As the sun set, Metallica began to lose hope in ever finding his way out of this wilderness. Then, he saw a light. Two, three! He began to trot, throwing his head joyously, and more lights appeared. A town! Plus, guess what? When he finally made it to the first building, a hotel, he saw nothing else then his owner's trailer. He could hear mumbling, and trotted around the side to see who it was. His owner slammed the door shut, and stumbled backwards at the sight of Metallica.
"You made it!" She gasped with acute joy. She ran to her Akhal Teke, embracing the Grey Dapple Metallic, stuttering slightly. "I thought you were dead." She murmured. Metallica shook his head, snorting and neighing loudly. His owner couldn't help but laughed, patting him happily. "You are truly extraordinary, my Horse of Steel."

Poem:
I'm a leader, a fighter,
A victor, a survivor.
I'm made of steel,
Try to knock me down, I'll get back on my feet.
You can never hurt me,
No, not even my worst enemy.
I will not back down,
I will not run away.
I will fight for what is right,
Even if it means the death of me.
Other:

Show Name:Cloudy Winter Night
Barn Name:Yelena {ye-LYE-nah}
Gender:Mare
Age:4 years
Breed:Akhal Teke
Color:Grey Dapple Metallic
Height:14.3 Hands
Fact About Akhal Tekes:Wow, I could write so much here, about of of my most favorite horse breeds, but I limit myself. The Akhal-Teke is a one person horse. These horses find their true rider and bond with him, never bonding to a second person this closely again. An Akhal-Teke will do almost everything for his true rider. They are very sensitive and changing riders can stress them extremely. They are revered by the russian and turkoman people. In war, where these horses where once used, generals often tried to obtain these valuable horses and bring them back to their home countries.
Extras:====================
1) PersonalityYou can often see Yelena running over the pasture, challenging our Thoroughbred mare Venture. They are out fastest mares. Yelena is really sly sometimes and manages to beat Venture most of the times, not only because of her speed, but simply because she uses tricks on her friend. After all, when they have finished their races they graze next to each other peacefully. Yelena is a social mare and getting along well not only with the mares, but with geldings and stallions as well. She, however, prefers calm boys over the bossy ones and can get nervous when she is pressed. Sometimes she has a hard time with other horses, because she just wants to be alone. On the one side is her fiery temper, but on the other side her breed makes her very sensitive and she just won't get along with stress and permanent action. Yelena isn't a horse you would use in big shows, but rather than that she is a trusting trail horse that has a lot of fun being challenged in the nature. Because she has a very thin coat and feels cold really easily, she hates autumn and winter, unlike Venture for example who loves to play in the mud. Yelena then disappears into one of the pasture's corners trying not to get wet. When it is too bad outside she'll either stay inside the barn or is released into the riding hall.

2) Headshot

3) Why I would like to have her.I saw her and was in love. I adore how you edited the lines and how it gave her the touch of an Akhal-Teke. Akhal-Tekes count to my most favorite horse breeds and sadly they are pretty rare here on Cottonwood, probably mostly because they really need line edits to look like an Akhal-Teke. You did such a good job with her and that made me really want to have her. And she would really make a great mate for a stallion I was recently gifted. I bet she and Eziz would get along really well and I'm dying already to draw them racing against each other over a pasture. Even if I don't win her, I would possibly stalk her forever.
