Once you turn the cover page you notices that a Photograph falls into your lap. You pick up the photo and see a light blue Kia making a silly face and seemed to be in a rather happy mood as she stood in what seems to be a old ran down station of some sort. When the picture was flipped over you see in the bottom right hand corner written Galifrey in Nepal.
Day Two of my travels,
It has been an early morning for me and Vannie my companion on this journey. We had got to Nepal by plain and had got in late last night. Though we only got about six hours of sleep at most, We had to leave the old ran down hotel I managed to find and for us. To sleep there though I had to pay about roughly thirty dollars American money. The Hotel seemed to be more like on of those old creepy bed and breakfasts back home.The place needed work, the roof... well that was left of the roof and what the owners tried to pass off as a "Sky light" was place right above the room we where granted to stay in. Though it was up stairs it didn't prove to be more room then a seven by eight room meant to sleep three or so people. Though tonight it was just the two of us.
In the morning we headed out to the old train station that would be taking Vannie and I to one of the small Tea shops that rest at the base of the mountain. This was one of the many tea shops that we would be hitting as we made our trek up the mountain. Though I was ecstatic for what we to lie ahead of use as we got our train tickets and waited. The train station was not like those you would see in America. The building was much older and prayer flag hung all around. On the walls where a verity of posted ranging from adds, to warning about the Mythical Legend of the Yetti. Over time the posted had worn and watchers, some even tearing and sagging do to the wind and rain. It didn't surprise me and with that walked on to the old wooden plat form in which I could imagine had a green like paint at one point and had faded of the years.
At this point I was in a rather happy and goofy mood which I couldn't help but make faces at Vannie as we waited for the train to come. Vannie on the other hand was video tapping the trip along with taking pictures. I was to busy with my nose in the old tattered book I managed to buy off the hotel manager, It was about the stories of the yeti that guarded the mountain and I was normally to busy to sight see when there was something I wish to know and learn. Growing up the yeti has always fascinated me and it was one reason my favorite vacation spots where Nepal.
Once the train came, Though it was a much older train yet it came across better kept up then the place Vannie and I stayed at the night before. It was more reliable at less and with that we took little to not time boarding and finding our seats. The train was practically lifeless in side with only a couple of other Kias on it. There was a set of darker Kia that looked like to be a lovely dove couple and then there was a family that looked to be like a rather cheery and more up going people that where never up to no good. They where probably only visiting the tea shop for the day and heading back home to there three-five star resort.
At this point you can make out a couple of more sentences that seem to be worn out and faded with a bit of coffee on them which made it that much more unbearable to read. But you got the Idea that they had made it to the tea shop and have a pleasant ride though Galifrey that girl in the photo graph slept for most of it and complained about wanting noodles. You assume that Vannie was the girl that had accompany her on this trip and they had seem like good friends.
